Re: Need inspiration on competative RC10 OIN
Correct me if I'm not seeing this properly. Are the GT offset axles correcting the arc that is brought in by the offset change with B4 wheels? From what I thought, the arc with the GT axle B4 (positive offset) wheel combo is similar to an original axle and negative offset TQ style wheel? Arc would b...

Re: Why isn't the interest in RC-10 collecting very strong?
I think it's safe to say that rc10talk has been The driving force in the popularity and collectibility of RC10's. If it wasn't for this site, the RC10 would only be a footnote on Tamiya clubs other makes section of their forum. Hear, hear :!: I had an RC10 back in the day as well. I was smitten by ...

Re: Why isn't the interest in RC-10 collecting very strong?
I agree with Marlo. To combine a few thoughts here, just like real cars, if a lot have been made no matter how cool, the demand will be soft. Now rc10s dont suffer as much attrition as real cars. Waffle and the like are working on thinning the herd but slowly. Good examples will fetch premiums but r...

Re: Vsefiream's OIN build on a budget
Thanks duece. I read somewhere, maybe in one of askbob's threads, that the Reedy combos are not the best. I'm partial to the Reedy name though if for no other reason than the Associated/Reedy history. I see one here in the BST section for $65 shipped, doesn't sound too bad for that price but it's a ...

Vsefiream's OIN build on a budget
Until I joined this forum, I had never seen or heard about the wide arm build known very well here as OIN. After watching a bunch of OIN builds and reading the thread, I feel the need to build my own. I have a small rc budget so I'm going to use whatever I have on hand and try to spend as little as ...

Re: Yet another purple RC10...cause we just can't have enoug
I really like the way that body fits and looks. I didn't realize it would sit that low. I agree the rear tower works well with it. I would also like to see a more agressive V shaped rear tower or even a truck style tower with that body. I think it would look more like a modern car

Re: '91 RPM Worlds build
Sunday was an epic failure. I was all prepared and pumped up to run my car this weekend. All tests were done in the house in a small area but seemed just fine. When I got to the track Sunday I was experiencing difficulty with part throttle. I retraced all my steps concerning what was changed. All th...

Re: RC12E clone runner project. ****Finished****
This car should be really quick for an old school car due to the light weight. Seriously?? Quick would be an understatement!! When I ran 12th we ran stock motors with 4 cells and the cars were pretty quick because they were light. Now your car, it's a shame it will be so retna burning fast ...
