Check out the top shock mounts. Look like wheel collars. The servo is sitting backwards and front mount is sideways. Battery mounted forward. Lots of little oddities! Dubro style steering links. Almost looks like baloons over the springs. And that impossible to find fiberglass trans brace

Also, in my experience anyway, you will not get a futaba receiver to work with an airtronics transmitter. It would be easiest to just grab a futaba transmitter and make sure your crystals match.

That speed control and receiver are made to work without a seperate battery, if you chose to run one make sure you remove the red wire from the esc going into the receiver or there will be trouble

Bru-line and others made conversions to put clod tires on other cars and trucks.i specifically remember them on a box, there was very little room to turn!

I had a couple maxxums in the old days and stupidly thought they would make fun projects. One ended up a dual motor with ultima back half and monster tires.
