Re: Track action photos

Finally got the chance to have a drive on the track today, was going perfectly until right at the end I got alittle off line on the back straight & hit a steel fence post head on! took a chunk out of the guard, blew off a headlight & knocked off a camber adjustment rod. It's all fine & ...

Re: rc10 "stealth" project-pick a motor from my collection

Lookin good, great choice on the Trinity motor! What you doing for the body? Ordered a Protech today. Might use that bug body in my BST post...but gotta be black with white or silver sport stripes sounds cool. Simple paint job maybe with a few decals. The blank bodies are piling up with all the RC ...

Re: My very first hobby RC

Looked cool with that Nascar body. Carb and choke cleaner did a heck of a job when I stripped my chassis this last weekend and did not mess up the anodized aluminum.

Thanks for the reminder...I ordered some button screws for the tubes today...trying not to drive it too much until they arrive. :P Admittedly the charger is ticking away now.

LOL got a T4 off Civilguy a while back, but it is in such good condition I hate to use it. I am half run/fun and half collector...just torn :?

Thanks for the input. I used the red '85 Trinity. Not liking this ESC, but here it is mostly complete (for now):

Re: rc10 "stealth" project

I plan on using this car as a vintage up and down the street beater-tires will "adjust" in due course. :D Would appreciate it if you guys could suggest the best motor from my small collection for this car. Appreciate the feedback.

Re: rc10 "stealth" project

I was piddling in garage this afternoon and had an idea. I wrapped the motor plate in paper towels then sprayed with carb and choke cleaner letting it soak for about ten minutes. The powder coat "wiped" off easily with a flat screwdriver. It was orange powder coat (see first post.) http://...

Re: rc10 "stealth" project

Steering and camber rods cut to length:

Front Steering: 37mm
Front Camber: 23mm
Rear Camber: 27mm
Steering Linkage: 24mm

EDIT: These turned out to be a little too short. On a few I had to add around 3-5mm.
