These two sealed bad boys, been after just one for an age, then two sealed come along, at once, for silly money, way happy! Ones destined for my '94 YZ10 shelf car!
Shawn, yup thats the one buddy, ARP, Amark, really good, not sure about dyeing though, i want a pink set, may have to try it for my first dye job, think I've got a couple of NIP sets left.
Its a fun restore, but yeah, spendy, a decal sheet is a pig to track down and yup, costly, i used a TBG shell and NIP decals with mine to save a bit, the TBG shell is spot on too TBH. I ended up fitting a load of Nimrod parts to mine, but eventually got the sprues i needed, then again, i do love the...
Have you tried the wheel sets off that auction site we know and love? There from Germany, white dished ARP IIRC, i bought a quite few sets to use with foams, seem to work fine and decent prices?
Awww mannnnn lol, it'll be a good viewing to see go to auction Alex, shame, you do NOTHING by half, so somebody will be a very lucky punter, good luck buddy!
Yeah, they are TOO rare Alex, and the time and effort in hunting out parts alone would ruin you later, hell, one would have to pry my '94 out of my dead grasp, and thats a stock '94, if i had a Masami, id want armed SWAT guard on the case hehe! Ill look after it for you if you like though buddy, whi...
Buddy ill get to my boxes and take a look, long as Reggie etc are cool with helping a Yokomo brother out as i don't wanna pee on the BST picnic. I know for a fact i have a layshaft and pulley (new) with a used but good one way adaptor. But i know i bought a new DD spur when i bought a pulley set, I'...
Ive had both, I've Mr Lexan on my '94, and its superb compared to an original. TBG are just wrong, just way too small. As for Cobra, least the guy made sure they fit in a decent manner, i know they are soft, but for runners there great.
Thanks buddy! TBH this ones up for sale, bought and restored it to race, and its too nice to do that, and i don't need a second Yokomo doorstop lol. Agreed on the TBG gear mate, utter poop and useless, it just don't fit right, and the under trays are laughable! Foams, there Schumacher Contact, fit r...
Wonderful pics, wonderful memories of a bygone age Luke, and i used to be a Bedworth regular too, wayyyy back in the Howard Harrison days, stock class 190mm, brutal competition.
Always the '94 for me. It was my second true race car, after an early Ttech that scared with me its blistering speed, but flawed fragility, the '94 was easy to drive, quick, and built like a tank, i really only raced on road, and in an age where 190mm was just starting to filter in, the converted to...
