Re: Stoked, YZ10 score, Thank CATS!

I see your side Scott, but dont advertise a screw for screw rebuild, that clearly hasnt been buddy, just makes it tricky. Anyway, for now i have parts enroute i think to build a std centre shaft, with the one way spur adaptor.....but, i cant seem to fathom the pulley, i cant use the one way pulley o...

Re: Stoked, YZ10 score, Thank CATS!

Buddy you SEE the bend, it even clicks as i rotate the wheel, sounds like a CAT 2K lol, its a bad bend, so i bought a full set of shafts. Seems this will turn into a bit of a restore thread afterall, which is fun.

Re: Stoked, YZ10 score, Thank CATS!

Ok, looking at your pic Alex, seems to me, im just missing the correct spur, locking ring, and a few shims, and thats it.
Of course, ill need to then rebuild it the correct way, with the spur outside the outer plate?
That sound feasible to you? Sorry again for the 20 questions.

Re: Stoked, YZ10 score, Thank CATS!

OK heres the assembly as it came out. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/ralphee/slipper.png And stripped, there is a cut and shut, fixed drive hex, seems to be an AE slipper plate? Basically, id be happy to bag the right AE parts to complete it properly (at this point there is no slipper effect...

Re: 5 more members....

TBH im just enjoying the threads, SO much to read through, and some epic builds too. I have a few vintage Tamiya, but race chassis' were always my passion, so its nice to see such cars here new built, or carefully restored. Far too many do this for profit or form of hoarding NIB kits, its nice to s...

Re: Stoked, YZ10 score, Thank CATS!

Nice purchase! I look forward to seeing how you get on with painting a Masami style shell, I did one for my YZ-10 & it was a right biatch to mask - i'm sure someone with more skill with a scalpal & liquid mask would find it easier. Having said that I love the 'rising sun' style shell curren...
