Re: YZ10, full rebuild!

Haha, not really, after many years working with nasty resins and paints in my other hobby, my poor old chest cant take the abuse, and i guess ive grown lazy what with all this new tech around

Re: mr4-bc or works 93 runner?

I think id like to run a YZ with modern electronics, but i just love vintage gear i guess, may ponder brushless for the 91 in time, but just something about using period gear in the 94. That said, reckon we can get our heads together and get a dedicated set of lipo trays made for these things?

Re: I sold my soul for a Yokomo

One vote is enough for me ;) The only blemish I was able to find was, not surprisingly, some oxidation on the magnesium motor mount. Hopefully one day I can find an alloy motor mount... I got a NIP mount, its unopened but its still very dull from age, id just get your one bead blasted, they look am...

Re: I sold my soul for a Yokomo

Yes this was on eBay recently. I had a light day at work one day and decided to do some eBay trolling. Bad bad bad idea ;) Glad I did, though - this one is a gem. The car was shipped from Germany, yes. I am considering taking the new aluminum c-hubs, wheel hubs, and rear hubs from the other YZ10 (t...

Re: YZ10, full rebuild!

Buddy thanks for your input, mean to write you back. Solved the problem though, you'll never guess, a bit of slip on the rear diff, luckily id not gunned or used her hard, so the pully is cool, a quick strip down and adjust, bam, went like stink, super brakes too now, car had a nice shakedown and is...

Re: TRF511 rebuild.

No one got the joke, look at that 3/4 perspective pic. Then take the wing (the big one lol) and put it at the other end. Looks like a current buggy now  Forest and trees spring to mind Reggie, i see what you mean now lol, thats a pretty good perspective, who would have though, all those years,...
