Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion
I'm surprised they waited this long to do a re re, they had to see the sales Tamiya have made with their re re's. I had to take a double take at this post when i read it, honestly I was kind of shocked, I've spent way too much on parts for these cars, but on the other hand an original is still an or...

Re: AYK Pro Radiant Guru's
I've been scouring the internet looking at pics, from what Ii can see they look real close to stock shocks.
I bet the fun will be finding the rears, will worry about it when it gets here.

I hear ya Lars! Some things cannot be passed up.
I thought the rear shocks were not original, didn't know if the fronts were.
Thanks

AYK Pro Radiant Guru's
Few pics of a Pro Radiant I picked up on the bay, should be here next week.
Talked myself out of buying one a few times, finally succumbed to it.
No idea what it is missing or what it will need, looks pretty complete, I think.

Looks like he has done pretty well with his Radio Shack!
I started with one even older then that and got hooked, they are great starter detectors.
You either get the rush on your first couple of finds, or you don't. I did!

Looking great TM!
Sure has come a long way from your 1st post, great job!
Although it would be great to just chuck old parts and replace with new, it's also nice to see somebody use what they have and turn out a nice car.
Mike

Have a Whites DFX and a Vision, no pot of gold yet, have found a few old coins.
I have an old homestead behind my house, found it on some old maps from the 1800's.
Weather is just about right for some digging!

Re: So hard to let go.
Know the feeling, this might be the year I unload a bunch of old motorscooters from the '50s, several 80's Honda CT and C series bikes. Trying to get back into working on my cars, 77 Firebird Formula, 78 Trans Am, 70 Challenger, and a 66 GTO, Figure if I don't do something with them this year, it mi...

Nice start for a Tomahawk resto.
Your best bet will probably be ebay, maybe you'll get lucky and find a donor chassis for a decent price.
Good Luck!
