Re: Brushed motor and vintage ESC questions
Thanks for the replies. I have another question. I'm trying to set up my Novak 410-hpc with a Futaba FP-T2ncs stick radio. I have it connected to a motor with a schottky diode. When I push the throttle stick forwards, it makes a noise. When I push the throttle stick backwards, the motor rotates in t...

Re: Brushed motor questions
So if I put the endbell on backwards and switch the motor wires, it will be the same as if I did nothing?

Brushed motor and vintage ESC questions
Hello all, I have several brushed motor questions, so I'll just put them all in one thread. First, I have an adjustable timing motor with the endbell removed and no markings. How do I reset it to 0 degrees timing? What will happen if I accidentially put the endbell on flipped 180 degrees? And how do...

Re: Benefits of a Stealth Trans?
That's not true.
Diff rebuilds are much easier on the 6 gear.

Re: Rc10 Vonats classic class build
I know, but in the meantime I'll be using the car with something other than a Sport Tuned.

Re: Rc10 Vonats classic class build
I got a lot of motors from Rccars4all. I'm trying to decide which one to use in this car. There's a Venom Fireball 17 turn, a Trinity Chameleon, a couple of silver cans, a silver can with a Kyosho Le Mans stock 05, a Kyosho Le Mans 240st, a Le Mans 360ST, a Peak Dynasty 19 turn, a Trinity Gold Dust ...

Re: Optional / Custom wings for the RC10?
You can use any 2wd 1/10 buggy wing with the Rc10, you'll just need to make your own holes.

Re: COUNTING CARS:)
I currently own five, if you count the Xmods buggy. Radio Shack sent it to me for free, and I put hobby grade electronics in it. I also have: A Pb-10 A short arm Rc10 A Rustler A Hawk 2 And I have a few Xmods cars, but I'm not sure if those count. And I plan to sell the Hawk 2 before I buy anything ...

Hi User Unrelated!
It's good to see you back. Nice find.
You should definitely come to the VONATs, and bring your 10T. I've been there once, and wasn't happy about not making it last year. It should be great this year.

Re: Rc10 Vonats classic class build, what direction to take?
Yes, I de-anondized the shocks. Those are the original shocks, the same ones the car has always had. The anodization had gotten very scuffed up and looked bad. Here's a photo from before I stripped them. The suspension feels great, and the transmission shouldn't be a problem. It's got de-burred pini...

Re: Rc10 Vonats classic class build, what direction to take?
It's almost together. I'm just waiting on shock shafts (new all around, switching to 1.02's in back), ball cups, bearings, and a motor. They're coming in the mail.
I'm planning to copy the setup JK Racing's setup from here.

Re: Race Rustler build
Very nice, thanks for sharing.
I still haven't gotten to compete in a real race with this. 2wd ST was slow last I went to the track a few months back. I'll be returning soon and hopefully have other stadium trucks to race.

Re: Benefits of a Stealth Trans?
Yes you can.
The differential also works better, which improves the car's handling.
