Re: Factory Works Traxxas Rustler to SRT-R Conversion
This conversion looks awesome!! i've been on the look out for a donor truck too. one thing i did want to know was, are there any differences between the original rustler (black version) or the newer VXL (grey)?

Re: Project Tomy Intruder Vintage Racer
Nice one Jamie!
I'll be keen to hear how it goes, i've been reading through your thread, though not in super detail and i think theres a shelfer mixed in there too, can you put up a little run down of the specs of your buggy that you'll be racing, options used etc?
All the best with it!

Re: 1997 Brian Kinwald XX World Champ Replica (updated 11/04/18)
He rubbed the colour off the springs so people wouldn't know which colour spring he was running, he'd leave a small trace of the colour up one end so he could still identify which weight spring he was pulling out of his tool box Its argued that by removing the paint, it made the spring slightly soft...

Re: Traxxas 1 (=TRX-1)
So as my CVDs are cracked and because i wanted something stronger, i decided to try the Integy ones and it is a nearly direct fit with the stok rear hubs ... and a direct fit with the RPM rear hubs : http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f320/badnat62/C26506ORANGE_zpsulcgjbka.jpg ... but fits well on t...

Re: Losi XXT CR Graphite Plus - Runner Build
Dremel it out Cheers mate, i had thought of that, i was worried that it might go through the chassis. have you seen it done? is there enough meat on the bottom of the chassis so it wont create holes underneath? Losi xx kid, i had a look at that thread you linked but i couldnt see much in the way of...

Re: Losi XXT CR Graphite Plus - Runner Build
Just a general question for people running XX buggies or trucks with stick lipos. How are you getting around the "step" part inside the battery tunnel that narrows the width down to around 42-43 mm which is narrower than standard stick packs. i want the pack to sit as low in the chassis as...

Re: Optima Mid Questions/Help
Hi Bill Welcome to the site yes the rere cvds also fit the mid, you'd need to get the hexes and pins too as they were smart enough to not use the friction hex setup on the rere i agree with the comments of others here too, i bought an ok car and a parts car, put the best bits together, got a couple ...

re the gearing
Generally brushless need a taller ratio than its comparable brushed motor so if i were choosing, i'd be going with the 2wd box rather than the truck one but great build either way!!

Re: Has Anyone done a tekin Mid Motor Truck Conversion????
Hi I'm sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but i have a tekin mid buggy in great condition and had been thinking on doing it as a truck and wanted to know the kit differences Based on the above, it appears the only things that were different between the truck kit and buggy were the rear ar...

TRX-1 Mods and Parts guide
Hi guys I feel that something that's missing in this area is a consolidated thread that people can refer to when searching for parts or mods for their TRX-1s. Before I go on, I am anything but a guru on the car, i picked up a couple of them and raced one at a vintage meeting in October and am keen t...
