Re: Craiglist rc parts/cars posts, hilarity thread
Strangest RC10 I've ever seen! Must be one of those very first Edinger cars or the even more rarer than the MIP 4x4 conversion its the Royal 4x4x4 conversion.

Re: Image hosting picture quality
Are you still looking at it on the phone after its been uploaded to photobucket? Some carriers will greatly compress images to save bandwidth. Photobucket does compress so it will be less quality then the original but shouldn't be drastically different.

Re: Grounded by the wife.
If it gets delivered on Monday or Wednesday she never knows about it because I get home before her, the problem is the rest of the week she gets home before me. She never has grounded me but has laid a good guilt trip on me at times. Its never stopped me but it does slow me down from time to time.

Re: What are you guys using for vintage tire preservation???
Thanks Brian, pretty sure I can't get the wife to buy off on complete temperature controlled man cave but the design of what I want to do should keep the highs in the low 90's at the hottest and above 50 in the coldest of winter. Which should also help that there won't be any one day extremes like w...

Re: What are you guys using for vintage tire preservation???
I hate to drag up an old thread but here goes  What do you think is worse for old tires/plastic heat or cold? I live where it temps range from 100's in the summer and below 0 in the winter (though not for long periods of times) All my cars are displayed in my shop which is insulated but not...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I've been busy the last month. The Mud Blaster, The Frog and bottom Bullhead (rere) are NIB kits. The original Bullhead is in near mint condition but the rest need a lot of work! Should be a busy winter!

Been a few years since I last had one of these. Most fun RC vehicle ever, period. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-eaAd3mzInEM/U4ZscaFPZbI/AAAAAAAADpw/Ie1tvcVG5o8/s800/DSCF1158.JPG I love the Wild Willy's but totally bummed that the rere has a pre-assembled gear box, I just love building the cars...

That's the key! Just about any Option House parts these days seem way over priced. Nice score though!Lowgear wrote:Optima Mid rear Option House ball diff. This was a hard part to find for the price I was willing to pay.

Monogram Lightning 2 into 1 - make that 2 into 2
So my very first car was a Monogram Lightning way back in Christmas of 1985. So ever since I got back into RC I was hoping to find one and with some luck I found 2 beaters but one was red just like the one I had so I purchased both with the idea of making on out of the two. Well long story short I f...
