Re: Headling’s RC10 no5, Willspeed special!
Made a start on it and the front ends pretty much done now
Added one of my nose weights I make to the car, looks bling and will be a great addition for the Astro/carpet racing I do

Re: Yokomo YZ4 vs YZ4SF2
The belt drive car wasn't very good hence the SF got released fairly quickly after the beltdrive one had a load of option parts/mods to try and get it to work
The SF or the SF2 are great cars, or the XB4/B74.1 is a great option

Re: Headling’s RC10 no5, Willspeed special!
So got the B4 gear diff box in! Had to make a few tweaks to get it in, first up you have to dremel off the lower part of the gearbox as per the pics as this sits lower than the nix conversion part, an easy 5 min job Second job is the gearbox bolt needs grinding down to fit in the nix bulkhead, if yo...

Re: How to mount B4 transmission on RC10?
NIX63231 + B4.x gearbox + B6 gear diff. If needed, you can easily shim the gearbox up to get diff gear just above chassis. Or make a small groove to chassis. Re: Headling’s RC10 no5, Willspeed special!
Shapeways delivery came today! Just got to decide to put a ball diff gearbox in it or a gear diff
I’m thinking gear diff as it’s going to be winter soon and I’ll be able to get some running indoors on eos carpet

Re: 'The Concept Car' 4WD RC10
Great thread and car, enjoyed seeing the pics on iconic rc
I had the same issue on my first rc10 build, the outer ball joints on the hub/chub hit each other on full suspension compression causing them to pop off, take the front shock off and check out if there is a fowling issue
