Re: New bolt-in mid motor conversion project
Hey Brian. Looks fantastic. That is exactly what I had in mind to do also with the leading thought of not modifying tub chassis at all. I made a 3d test assy with 2 idlers like you and also 3-gear version with using 2nd diff gear as idler. This is great, now I can just lean back and see how your des...

Re: NIX10M
These are the current prices. Fibre-Lyte has all needed drawings to cut parts for you. Hopefully in near future we can find NIX-parts from Fibre-Lyte website. Ordering info from http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk I don't have any business connection or deal with Fibre-Lyte. I'm just a happy customer like y...

Yes, they can cut just one part or one set. I will list part prices when I get confirmation from them.

Re: NIX10M
No production run of #63056 chassis yet. One batch of #63053 chassis has been done. It's sold out.
If you want a carbon #63051 chassis set Fibre-Lyte can help you out with that.

Re: RC10 buggy with long RPM arms
Biggest difference in arm mount is zero degree toe-in. Arm itself has 3 deg. Arm mount location is also fine-tuned for B4 bone lenght. As you can see from the picture (with stock inner hinge pins) RPM arm should use shorter pins. This also affects arm mount design. -N- RC10_RPM_long_arms_06.jpg RC10...

Re: Carbon B3 - nix9200
Very cool build. I had no idea Niki was involved with Fibre Lyte! Niki, what's the story behind this? Nothing special with it. Before NIX91 project all my custom parts were made by Fibre-Lyte. Top quality, easy to work with, ok price even for single parts. Can't really ask for more while building a...

Re: RC10LC - IFMAR 1996 On-Road Worlds Special
I'm sure Fibre-Lyte could cut CF parts if needed. I'll ask them. Body will still be the problem. Wheelbase is 235mm (9.25"). Body rear width 210mm, front 192mm. I'm having that same problem myself as I don't want to destroy those original bodies. My vacuum forming setup is ok for PET-G material...

Original RC10LC with thicker chassis (shortened L2) - Yes.
NIX10LC Evo1 - Yes.
NIX10LC Evo2 - Not yet
I got stuck with offroad cars... maybe next indoor season

Re: Carbon B3 - nix9200
Nice that you found my old B2/B3/T3 Graphite topic.
In fact I'm going to work with my project car in near future also. B2 will get it's old race appearance back and new build will be B3 Worlds Graphite.

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
This is how Quadra was designed. Front end symmetry line and rear hinge pin highlighted in red. I couldn't get it closer to B2/3/4 symmetry than that  Obviously hinge pin end difference (compared to symmetry line) would be smaller with basic B4 type rear toe-in 1.5deg/side. 1.5-1 and 1.5-2 rear...
