Re: Niki's Worlds Re-re / 91 Worlds Conversion
Thanks. Track is great (2011 IFMAR Worlds site) but I hated the muddy top surface created by weather. I don't know if they had done something to the track, but seemed like it never going to get dry/normal. Car was understeering and I just had to wait in the corners. Friday was better but there is no...

Re: Niki's Worlds Re-re / 91 Worlds Conversion
OK, here it goes. With normal track conditions car felt rather good. Too bad that lasted only two practise rounds on Friday. I made the bestlap of vintage class in the first heat I ever drove that car. During the weekend we got more and more rain and my car just understeered more and more. With the ...

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
I used "long wheelbase" holes for tub mounting and "short wheelbase" holes for bellcranks.

Re: Long travel b4?
Yes it does, but it isn't. Rear end has only AE parts. B4 arms and CVD's, T4 rear wheels (not JC), T4/SC10 rear shock tower and shocks.
If I switch rear wheel from T4 to B4 on that car, rear end is just what you wanted... and it's working nicely.

RC9B4
B4 rear end with T4 tower and shocks. You might need to drill one extra hole to tower and maybe cut one or two outermost off.
I ran rear shock in tower hole 1 and outer hole in arm.

Re: Long travel b4?
I didn't get the CVD's to bind when I had B4 arms mounted together with T4 tower/shocks/wheels in my J82.
In fact that J82-kind-of-buggy was the best handling 2wd buggy/truck I have ever driven.

CustomWorks #3241 rear hub is working nicely with two shims between spacer and bearing.

Re: Niki's Worlds Re-re / 91 Worlds Conversion
Thanks Dave. Yes, those are the scans I'm talking about.
I found 5 old used 25deg blocks, hopefully parts can deal some racing action.

Re: Niki's Worlds Re-re / 91 Worlds Conversion
There might be a vintage race in the horizon so I desided to make a race version of this car.
Dynotech Klein arms and CustomWorks #3241 rear axle carriers will do the job.
RPM #7077 info sheet advise to use AE 25deg. caster blocks as basic set-up in front.

Re: Buri Racer 1/8 scale 4WD electric pan car
Finally had a chance to drive it. It's pure fun for sure.
How about you V12 ?
Too bad I forgot all my pinions home. I would have liked more speed on main straight. Next time then...

Re: RC10 buggy with long RPM arms
At least wheel nuts are outside 250mm. When I measured it with B4 front rims alone it was 250mm sharp on ground level. With wide tyres it's outside 250 for sure but maybe with ribs it's ok.
