Really off topic - End of an Era

I found out Honda will no longer be making lawn mowers. Emission restrictions and higher profit products drove the decision. They stopped production last September, so selling off inventory now. I kept my first Honda mower for 30 years, and it ran like new when I sold it. The hydrostatic transmissio...

Best April Fools Gag

Post your favorite April 1st gag here. I’ll go first. A local Dallas radio station announced the rescheduling of the Feb 8th Solar Eclipse so that it would occur on a weekend and have better weather. People were calling in and complaining because of the short notice and they had scheduled time off w...

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....

Has anyone assembled the RC10B6.4cc kit yet? The screws are a tight fit and I am concerned about immediate or eventual cracking. I am considering tapping the holes first. Appreciate your recommendations. Thanks - limestang So I answered my own question. I recommend carefully tapping the holes. It’s ...

Animated driver figure - Very cool build

This is next level RC - First saw this on Facebook - Danny Huynh Creations. He has incorporated animated driver figures and other cool details like rotating engine parts, machine guns and sound effects. Very Cool. If the link doesn’t work, search Danny Huynh Creations on youtube. - Limestang https:/...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood

After looking at pictures and reading numerous posts, here’s my best estimate on the wheels: Rear - 1.5” OD, 1.3” Width, 0.15” Negative Offset, Foam Tires Front - 1.5” OD, 0.7” Width, 0.19” Negative Offset, Foam Tires with 4 grooves Does this seem reasonable? Hopefully I calculated the offset correc...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood

Has anyone ever confirmed the diameter of the wheels? It would need to accept foam tires.

Thanks, limestang
