Re: Jrx Pro Rebuild
Well the car is basically complete. The only thing I need is a motor now. But still this differential is giving me probs. I have taken this thing apart countless times. Cleaned and greased. It always come down to that screw. There seems to be no middle ground. It's too loose or its too tight. It's ...

Re: Jrx2? buggy truck? Identification
Nice ride. I'm in the process of restoring a jrx-pro and the cost has become a nightmare. You have a Frankenstein so it would prob cost too much to make it back to whatever it was. I would do a complete tear down and clean it, but leave it the way it is. Ive got the same rusty turn buckles. I tried...

Re: Impulsive Nitro Truck Purchase
Sorry about the pics. Apparently they don't like you changing the name of the dir the files are in. :? Should be fixed now. Ok, so i'm no longer a lottery winner. I still got a good deal, the owner of my local hobby shop verified the receiver was really nice, plus he pointed out there was a transpo...

Re: Impulsive Nitro Truck Purchase
What r my options in starting it? Does it have to have a "bump box"? Is there a way with the stuff ive got? Like a "jump start" or something. Everything I have is in the pics.

Impulsive Nitro Truck Purchase
Alright I was browsing craigslist and came across something that seemed like a steal. The ad said Losi Nitro Truck plus extras $100. So I call the guy up and snatch quick. He said he had just put the ad up. Problem is I'm an electric car driver. Could never afford the gas but wanted one. There were...

Re: Jrx Pro Rebuild
i don't know much about marine electronics, but if the motors and batteries for the boat are the same size as car stuff, the esc should work. one concern I would have is does the Boat ESC have brakes? I think the marine controllers are forward only, no brakes, no reverse. Yea that's true it has no ...

Jrx Pro Rebuild
Hey all, Just getting the hang of posting photo's so I thought I would while waiting for parts to come in. This is my Pro I received in 91 at the age of 13. It was driven hard with little maintenance. It's a wonder there was any thing left to work with. Also, my pit crew chief pictured. http://i123...

Re: Could use some help identifying a part.
Awesome. Thanks. But sadly I was able to use your number to go right to the page in the manual which was page 1. Now I feel dumb, but at least I can go buy it now. Thanks again.slapshot1979 wrote:Wing tubes A-2010

Could use some help identifying a part.
Hey guys new to the site and really enjoying it so far. I received a JrxPro in 1991 played off and on for a few years, but have it out with intentions to get her going again. Toward the end we really had her "rigged" up. We rocked it till the wheels fell off, but now she has been completel...

Here is a good site that shows compatible parts. It has been very helpful in the past. Also, has lots of vintage manuals.
