I may do one day, they do feel almost as strong as the kit versions, these have a better webbing strength in the original designcompared to the original kit wheels so may be up to the job.

RC10 B2/3 wheels Shapeways 3D printed as used at 95 Worlds

Ok, thanks to Niki the wheels as displayed on the first proto plastic see through chassis of the 91 Worlds proto that has yellow flat wheels with a big wheel nut hole. Now I know a company in Europe made these (possibly in Sweden) and I got my hands on several sets before the worlds happened as at t...

Re: The "new" one: B3

Guys, Niki has kindly done me a favour and done a design for shapeways for the wheels that a few drivers usrd at the 95 worlds in Japan on their B2/3's. Rear wheels that were flat faced with a button to hide the wheel nut. I was fortunate to have a few sets but when my drive changed i sold all but n...

Re: A&L Steering on a Kyosho Lazer ZXR mods.

Interesting, does lighten the car a tiny bit plus less space is used up. Also like the servo reverse so its facing the outside and means replacing the servo horn without any issues. Since my redesign on the front gearbox may try this on my car, but as my cars balanced & servo is further inboard ...

Re: RC10th's NIX10M "The Pilot Car"

This was supposed to be a pre production sample before making the chassis available. It features the refinements in design learned from the prototypes. This car will ultimately get one of Jakes alloy chassis. I have all the parts to assemble a NIX10M except for the donor car itself. I originally pl...

Re: rc10b2 sponsored team race car

Nice, my favourite rc10 buggy, got me a lot of sponsership and never let me down. Only change i did was put wider front arms on and when the b3 came out they were a perfect fit, plus another wishbone front plate to add to the strength of the front.

Re: Plethora of 4wd replicas?

I did race against a couple of these and in the right hands were pretty impressive. Yes I owned one which i never got around to finishing so sold it which i now regret but due to enjoying racing my B2 so much have gone OTT and decided the conversion is plausible using 3D technology so am doing it fo...

Stunning job so far. Esc I looked at other guys used around that event and a lot were 12g which is why I opted for that on my repro, yes my esc is with a fuse but did win a few Nationals so added it for the history.

Re: My 91 RC10 Worlds Replica

 I wish I hadn't seen this! I'm still trying to convince myself not to do one of these builds, must resist! Looks amazing, love the vintage Txs as well! Who did the paint? And where are the decals from? Cheers, one of my Sanwa txs is the first converted to 2.4. Ive got five or six of them. T...
