All whites a good color choice for an off-road vehicle too. Dirt and discoloration be damned!

Re: Tamiya 1:1 Sand Scorcher

Usually when someone makes a vehicular replica of something that was never an actual vehicle, it's never that close due to the full size counterparts not existing. But that thing from the looks of it is as close as feasibly possible and very cool! 8)

Re: Robbe 6x6 Rodeo Amphibian

If only I could change that German flag in left top corner, that usually designates options for languages, as trying to register is a bitch in German on their site, cheers for in stock, now who wants one :D I figured the sites language could be changed as well but I couldn't find anything to do it....

Re: TRX Tranny Into Tamiya King Cab

That looks incredible, and as far as I know you're the only one to attempt this with those parts so far. But its a little bit too much cutting for my liking. How are you going to mount the top of the trans to the bottom of the tub? I'm currently (slowly) putting a Stealth trans in mine and i've foun...

Re: Did LaTrax ever make a car like this?

Jim Jenkins started Latrax in the 70's and then sold off the company to Brinkmann in 1980. Then in 1986 he started Traxxas. So there you have it. They had no relation back in the day other than the guy who founded LaTrax went on to start Traxxas down the road.

Re: What's the most you've ever spent on r/c in one day?

I feel cheap when I read some of these posts. I can't remember as its not something i've ever kept track of but i'd say in the $300 or $400 range on an order from Tower. I can never justify spending a lot on R/C in a single sitting. It makes my wallet and I feel better when the costs are spread out ...
