Re: Anyone picking up a B64D?

I still don't understand why the B5 had such a short life span and AE went right to the B6 platform so quickly. The B5 didn't even get a 4 wheel drive version. I wonder when we will see a SC version of this chassis? Curious why they haven't released the T6 yet as well.

Anyone picking up a B64D?

It's a bit of a mouthful for a model name but it gets the point across. I would imagine a lot of you might have Ten4 conversions so maybe not but it looks pretty good. I love my B44 - but the B64D is calling to me

Re: Found - Million Mile RC10

I've purchased a few tough cases but they ended up being more trouble than they were worth in parts.

Re: Tamiya spray paint in Canada

Hobby Hobby and Great Hobbies both carry Tamiya paints. They also happen to carry a wide selection of colours. Personally I like to buy from Hobby hobby because its a single point store and not a big chain - although they have a huge inventory.

Wow, that's really cool that you would even think of that. I'm sure the folks here would bid on it.

Re: Andy's Pro Race kit with modifed front RC10GT BH.

Wow that's some kind of frankenbuggy setup! Since you have the 10T wheels and tires on it, why not just switch to newer rubber and rims? I don't imagine that old rubber is very grippy. Unless you are just displaying it.

Re: Castle Sidewinder ESC issue

No worries. To make your life easier - here is the battery I'm using currently.

Great battery and cheap relative to the 'name brand' ones out there.

Re: Castle Sidewinder ESC issue

I wouldn't go 3S yet. Honestly the 2S with that motor is going to be way more than you've ever experienced before, trust me on this. As for battery brands - until a couple years ago I was running Gens Ace exclusively because they were rated highest and best for discharge curves etc. And they are rea...

Re: Ball diff/slipper

The motor just rattles like its locking up. A 5700kv BL is a rather decently torquey motor. it SHOULD lift the wheels, I'm still betting on the batteries ;) This ^ A 5700 should make your 10T FLY down the road and lift the front end with no trouble at all. Mind you, mine is geared differently (22p,...

Re: Castle Sidewinder ESC issue

I have a Sidewinder in my RC10 buggy and it was fine for the most part but if we ran it hard for a long time, it would cut out early due to high temps. So I just added a fan for it and now its fine. For your issue though, I'd say you probably have a battery problem.

Re: Castle Sidewinder ESC issue

I'll second that. I've had nothing but great success with Castle units in ALL of my cars. They have been run hard in heat, cold, snow, sand and they just keep going and going. A couple times I thought they were toast and I left them over night and next morning they were good to go again, go figure. ...
