Re: JRX2 & #5100 Thorp Diff Gears question...
Jun: Thanks for the great pictures. How is that 3020 different than a 3006, which was the original diff gear in the LRM? Given that the 3020 is plastic, not metal (like the 5100), wouldn't the 5100 be a "better" part, if you can find it? Also, I looked all over but I couldn't find the list...

Re: JRX2 & #5100 Thorp Diff Gears question...
I keep hearing about this A3020 kit... What is the A3020 bearing gear kit? Does anyone have a picture of it?
Basically, I stripped my diff gear and I'm wondering if there's an upgraded part that would be more durable. I'd really like to run a LRM and brushless system.

Re: JRX2 Differential
Shiro: Does that assume an aluminum diff gear or stock parts? I found it was rather easy to strip the diff gear (using a 13T brushed motor). However, I didn't have a slipper setup at the time (which I now have for my car). Other than regreasing the diff in the tranny and oiling the bearings, what ot...

Re: JRX2 Differential
I've got a Junior two, and I stripped the diff gear in my trans. I couldn't find a replacement one ANYWHERE, but I found the retrofit trans set on ebay and bought it. At this point, I've got all the parts for the retrofit trans and have it assembled, however I'd really like to keep using the LRM if ...
