I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe that explains the "on order" status at tower?

Let us know when you're out here again. Next time, fly into Burbank or Ontario. These airports are much smaller and easier to get around than LAX. I never use LAX. It's a pain. Reminds me of when I lived in the Bay area. I always used Oakland instead of San Francisco. SF is always delayed because of...

Yeah, there are a lot of people on the West side. The weather is perfect, who wouldn't want to live there? Pegasus and Ultimate are a serious drive from LAX. That must have been fun. You hit the Inland Empire and DEEP into Orange County. Glad you were able to get out and check things out. How was In...

When are they going to start making bodies again? :?
Or any other parts for that matter? Should we start buying all old stock from the hobbyshops? :)

Yeah, I think the heatsink looks a bit out of place. Who knows, it may look fine with a body. I wish you could still get the GPM motor plate. That would look nice on this setup.

Excellent work. Great choice of colors. Painting is a pain, but I think you hit it out of the park. (baseball reference)

Oh man...in-n-out...mmm. When I lived in Atlanta for 3 years, I missed in-n-out so much. Hardees just doesn't cut it. Luckily for mrlexan, there's an in-n-out just north of LAX. In fact, I think it's literally across the street. Funny story, my cousin and I were really hungry one night. It was...

 Way to look ahead, Jay. Never been to LA but I hear they travel by hours as a way of measuring distance, not miles. In that part of town, it does take a while to get places, especially during peak hours. :D Don't let that stop you, go out and explore. You can always hit the Mattel store in El...

There's not much around LAX. If you can get down to Torrance there's Speed Shop R/C Hobbies. Cute little place. There's also Pacific Coast Hobbies. Both of these are at least 10 miles away. Both have newer stock so no vintage RC10 bargains.
