Re: Yokomo MX-4
Most racers ended up just cutting off all the servo mount tabs and double stick taped it to the chassis or glued it with shoe-goo. I guess it depends on what battery configuration you want to use (4+2 or all 6 cells on the same side). With the 4+2 batt config. the servo goes on the left and the esc,...

The bulkheads with the the 9-hole camber link square need the .060 washers. The "world's" bulkhead with only three camber link holes on the outside has extra plastic molded on top and doesn't need them.

Re: RPS SE Yokomo option chassis LOTS OF PHOTOS WARNING!!!!!
Tak, do you ever have a problem with the steering bellcrank hitting the drive chain when you turn completely to the left? I'm also using yz-870/10 bellcrank on my yz-834b and the chain hits it when I turn the wheels all the way to the left. Jay, I would definitely buy a handful of rps bodies to help...

Hi Ed, your yoke is looking very good!!! I remember seeing some body off pics of Taks other cars and they roughly have the same battery strap design for the slotted chassis.

Re: buahahhah look at what i scored
No, NOT junk, they look to be in very good /new condition. The rears are from bolink (likely for the rc10), just not original kit rims and tires.

Re: Novak 410 Speed Controller???
Which 410 do you have? Is it a M5, M1, M1c, MXc, or HPc? With an 11t motor, you should be ok as long as its not the M5, which is the sport model and should only be able to safely handle 14-15+ turns, especially if using today's high capacity packs.

Re: MIP Gearbox motor plate question?
despite how people may feel about *sheldonshobbies* on ebay, they have the special MIP idler and diff gear replacements for this transmission if you need them. They cost a pretty penny, but they are out there! idler gear: http://cgi.ebay.com/MIP-32T-RC-10-RC10T-TRANSMISSION-IDLER-BOX-GEAR-AS-32_W0QQ...

Re: would this be the bearings for an rc10/10t
Check the rc10 site manuals. It depends on how specific you are building up your car (front flanged bearing rims/ 1/4" or 3/16"axles/ stealth or 6-gear, etc.......).

Re: Racer? Modeler? Collector? Hoarder?
I'm a racer/hoarder. I was introduced into the hobby through racing and it has been an addiction since. I enjoy running cars in their near original form aside from maybe electronics and tires. As far as being a hoarder, similarly to running current cars, I stock up on lots of suspension and transmis...

Hey hoopty, didn't you have an associated baja body mounted all low and stadium style on one of your buggies. I think the fenders covered the wheels too. I remember seeing it in your =rc10 collect= gallery long long ago.

The brothers had two tracks in the early to mid '90s too. Race Prep in Arizona and Race Prep in California.
