It depends on what handling characteristic you are looking for, but from what I believe, there is no front diff option for this car.

Re: New member
It has one-way bearings in the front hubs that allow one wheel to spin faster in the turns.

Yup, what scr8p said. I advise buying all your bearings from them too, for a dollar each, they're great! (revolutions/rubber/metal shield)

Re: Weakest parts on the Yokomo 834
The gears and drivetrain are actually very strong (32pitch gears are bulletproof), except a lot of drag. Honestly, the entire car, in stock trim, is quite fragile in general. If going to be run, I suggest sticking with a 19t or stock motor. The Alu. rear arms are Dr. Robotnik's. Not custom, but made...

Re: Tamiya has re released the Boomerang.....
Yup, tower has them coming soon also. I have an original that I love, much easier to access electronics than with the hotshot due to the tub chassis. More variety in the oldskool 4wd class I guess ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: last-minute purchase: MX-4
The spur gear is unfortunately crazy specific. Getting to it requires a good amount of disassembly too, but once you get the slipper right, its a set and forget thing. As for the gearing, the internal ratio is 2.2 and the stock spur has 84 teeth. I'd start with 19-20t pinion to get you an fdr of 9.7...

Re: last-minute purchase: MX-4
3. I have seen on the old Keil site that the MX-4 pictured there uses a flat sheet of carbon for the rear shocktower. Yet on mine it's a molded 3D part. Which would be the better one? Stick with the molded rear shock tower. It absorbs all the force in a bad rear impact or upside-down crash. The gra...

Re: last-minute purchase: MX-4
2. The mini has no one-way drive on the lay-shaft, instead it uses a one-way instead of ball-diff upfront. Does this have any advantages? Should I put it over to the buggy, and if yes: should I keep the one-way on the layshaft also? Good question! With a front one-way and solid lay-shaft, you have ...

Re: B4 parts
cherokee, try PM'ing the particular project builder. I'm sure they'd be more than glad to help you out. I can help you out with some B4 to B3 parts. You can put B4 rear hubs and cvds, and front castor blocks, axles and spindles on a B3 to run B4 rims at the proper width. Unfortunately, it requires d...

Re: My New 10T Local Race Truck JASON RUONA build
Nice team driver truck! Everything all spec'd out and trick looking. As for the body, its the team truck body ('94 kit) where as the other body without the extra bumps on the sides of the hump for the front shocks was for the original rc10t and 10t sport truck.
