Thanks for the vote of confidence gents. The servo holes for the holder were drilled out. I'm currently eying another chassis on Ebay and using all the parts to make a decent runner. I'll update you as I go along. Thanks again folks.

The tranny is complete and the buggy came with a Speed Gem 2 motor (blue can) and Hiteck Radio and Traxxas XL-1 ESC. I just won another vintage RC10 on Ebay and it should arrive next week sometime. It's in much better shape than this one.

It's going to take some $$ and lots of work to get this puppy to original. The tub is stamped with a A near the motor area. I'm spraying some paint remover now and it seems to be working. I think I just found it. It's a steering block with axle part number 6221 from TA.

I just got an RC 10 and it requires some parts. One is the part where the front tire bolts on to. I think it's an axle, but I'm not sure. I also need the block it attaches to. Sorry, I'm so new to this my knowledge of RC 10s is subterraneal at best. I'll try and post a pic of the broken part. Thanks...

Also, the previous owner drilled tons of holes on the bottom of the tub. What is the best way to cover them up? Thanks again.

I just got an RC10 I won on Ebay and I'm in the process of restoring it. It came with a blue motor having a sticker that reads Speed Gem 2. Can you folks give me an insight as to the best gearing? Thanks for your time and hope you have a great weekend.

Here's a pic of my recently acquired RC10T from Ebay. Needs some cleaning, but runs awesome. It has a Novak ESC and a REEDY DS spec motor. Moves at about 20-25mph easily. Great site!
