Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
This is NOT a final version of the list of needed parts, but should be 98% accurate. Understand things may change a little, but shouldnt change much. For example I would feel safe recommending sourcing all the front end drive and stealth diff parts. The steering pivots from the Worlds steering bell...

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
The kit is designed to use AE long front arms, like from the World's cars. For arms of any other length it would be up to you to find CVAs of the correct length. I have actually designed a Stealth case that has 6-gear mounting, and I've had one made. I havent had time to test it out yet as the ten4...

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project

I have a pair of the RPM short arms for the front of my buggy and would like to be able to use them if at all possible if that is doable i could very easily see using my curre...

Nice! Its great to see that the RC10 is getting some new attention. I have a feeling my wallet is gonna hate me a lot over the next couple months lolJK Racing wrote:Yes, the re-re bodies work just fine. There are also bodies now offered by JConcepts and Proline.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
You can use most of the parts. A few differences like front axles, rear cva, and slipper assembly but most of the stuff is compatible and you can also update too Nice! That is what i was hoping to hear! I was seriously considering buying both a rere kit and a rere roller. The idea was to use the ki...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
So....i only just found out about the Re issue Worlds car tonight while looking up bodies for another project and it got me wondering...could i use new parts intended for this car to rebuild my older Gold pan? Any real difference besides the pan color and the width of suspension (iirc the worlds car...

What 2.2 rims are you guys using?
Besides the B4 retrofit and the TT wheels and the Durartrax wheels. I occasionally see mention of a 5 spoke wheel that is the correct offset and has the tapered rear axles in 2.2 form. I believe this wheel is from the UK? I had a link for it once on ebay but cannot remember the wheel maker now. Any ...

Re: Thunder Tiger Phoenix CVD & Robinson RC10GT Metal Idler
1: Yes they will work with the stock arms, The Phoenix is a B2 clone and the RC10 and B2 used the same length CVD 2: I used a bearing spacer, from my B2 hub, in the older wheels 3: No but easy to solve with the spacer in the wheel Morten Thank you for the info. From what i understand of your answer...

Re: Thunder Tiger Phoenix CVD & Robinson RC10GT Metal Idler
I have a question about the cvds. These will work with the stock length rear a arms right? I just installed a pair of rpm arms and would hate to have to change them again just to run these cvds. Second question is will these axles work with the original rc10 wheels? I have a set of hpi wheels on my ...

Re: How do i upgrade my Stealth slipper clutch
Sorry for digging this up, it came up in a search for the upgrade. Just wish to confirm that the B4 and T4 use the same slipper clutch and top shaft? I want to retrofit the T4/B4 clutch to my T3 team truck. Will the topshaft from the T4 or B4 work in the T3 trans?

From what i understand is the RTR version i have has a T4 slipper clutch retrofitted to it possably. If that is the case what will i need t...

Re: Another re-release from Tamiya
Im one of those who like the fact that the Re-res exist. Like others have said it makes it easier to finish rebuilding an original that you stopped working on due to lack of parts. I know for a fact im gonna be watching for broken down re res of this truck so i can finish rebuilding my Stadium Thund...
