Speaking of Dos Equis.... :)
Had a couple of bottles while BBQing some chicken breasts this evening. I like this one quite a bit, too.

Re: Rebuild after 5 hour enduro

Nice! That sounds like a lot of fun. (good looking car, too)
2 weekends ago we ran a 500 lap enduro. Ours was onroad though... GT2/21.5 TC. We also had to hook up lights to our cars. After 2 hours or so my car was pretty hammered. I can just imagine what 5 hours would have done to it!

Re: So for my "first" beer tonight...

I've started going through the 'cheap seats' at the liquor store this week. The other night was Pabst Blue Ribbon, tonight is Schlitz Genuine Gold.

Re: My Old is sorta New Ultima

That's a great looking Ultima, Adam. I especially like the saddle configuration. I have those same batteries. (nothing like a little bling!)

I like the ones with more simple colour schemes... this one is my fav: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z254/ABbuggin/painted%20RC%20bodies/IMG_6888.jpg and this one: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z254/ABbuggin/painted%20RC%20bodies/IMG_0385.jpg I'm not a big fan of most over-complicated pain...

Re: Is it worth going brushless in a T3?

You don't have to go with a monster setup, either. A 17.5 or 13.5 would likely be much quicker than what you've run in the past, but wouldn't disintegrate your car if you clip a curb, or hit a tree!

Here's a better shot, shows the MSC and servo mounted to the chassis.

Re: Ultima/Optima Mid

I'm 99.999999% sure that's where the MSC was mounted. That's why there was a bubble on the car's right side window.

Re: Optima Mid score +model ID help

Damn it, I just typed a reply, but it crashed on me. Anyways, the short version is: Yes, it is definitely short, you can see it here: optima_body_length.jpg (A) is where the original shock tower location was, and (B) is where the shock tower is now. we should run some vintage at ferraro's one...

Re: Optima Mid score +model ID help

Cool, thanks Marvin. :D
Which of the Optima bodies fits the longer chassis? Just so I know what I should look out for.
