I don't think he had any one member in mind... he was just letting you know that some folks here might have what you need.

Re: Raider score
I don't know why, but a lot of people cut on the Raider. IMO it WAY outclasses other cars of its same category...like the Hornet and GH. It had 4 wheel independent suspension! For sure, 4 wheel independant was a definate advantage. Throw some golds on there, and it probably would have done quite we...

Re: Lazer ZX-5
Is it $200 with motor/esc etc, or is it for a roller only? $200 for a roller-only would be a bit steep. I bought my ZX5 FS for $150, plus another $100 for esc & motor. (although, that was a better/lower than average price) If it's $200 with the electronics, I'd say that's a pretty good price. It...

Raider score
I won myself a kyosho raider on ebay today for the low low price of $30. (around $45 with shipping) It looks to be in pretty great shape. Comes with the lemans motor and MSC (I think) The body is a little rough, and missing the wing, but I am sure I can find a repro raider body out there somewhere. ...

I can't take credit for that... it was painted by the guy I bought the car from. (all I did was add the black stripes)Coelacanth wrote:Yours was the sharpest-looking car.

Re: hpi sprint 2 sport
I had a great summer of racing with my Sprint 2. I bought it off a racing buddy halfway through the summer, and have loved it ever since! I ran it in our GT2 class, which is brushless 21.5 TC class. I found the car to be very low maintenance ...no broken parts or any problems with it for the months ...

Re: Wheels for Bolink Digger
Not sure if this helps, but I came across this in an old (2003) thread on another forum: Proline made onroad rims and tires that fit pan cars, you'll need to raise the body or enlarge the wheel wells by 1/2 inch or more. Advanced Designs, C&M Mfg, TRC made adapter for offroad vehicles to use pan...

Re: found myself an Ultima :D
I scored a set of Kyosho Gold shocks from a buddy of mine, and was thinking of using them on my Ultima, however, the rear shocks on the vanilla Ultima are very short... just a few cm longer than the fronts. If I want to use the 'standard' golds on the back, do I need to buy/make a taller shock tower...
