Re: What's the correct belt tension for Optima belt conversi

A loose belt is a happy belt.
I usually run belts in belt-drive cars as loose as I can without it falling/slipping off.

Re: New Losi 22!

Not to mention the fact that so few tracks are truly off road anymore. They are smooth, hard pack and fast, and the cars don't need as much travel as they used to. Put the power down, get through the corners as fast as possible and accelerate to the next corner as quick as you can. Ride heights tha...

Re: Anybody else tired of links to picture albums

If I'm only posting a pic or two (or three) I usually use the forum 'attach' feature. But agreed... it sucks when you browse through old posts, and they've all got that 'image has been moved/deleted' message.

Re: Anybody else tired of links to picture albums

Personally, I like photobucket for it's bulk uploading. I can upload a bunch of pics, and set it to reduce the image size to a smaller, more web-friendly image size. Then, I generate 'img thumb' code so I can put clickable thumbnails into my post. However, I have a trick to keep it from opening up a...

Re: Another re-release from Tamiya

Maybee tamiya are the smart ones they save the tooling and come out what is wanted and release it. I think that might be it. This is taken from the kyosho page on wikipedia: Potential for renewed production . Since rival company Tamiya renewed the production of popular classic models such as the &q...

Re: difference between surface and air radios

I'm not sure what the actual differences are, but I am fairly certain it is against the law to use an air radio on land. You'd have to check your local laws.

Re: Lazer ZX-5

You said 'you can still get parts'...are these kits on their way out? Does Kyosho not produce parts for older models? Why would RTR parts not be available? I can only speak for the FS & SP versions, because those are the only versions of lazer I've had. (I've bought parts for both of those duri...

Right? What's up with those? I can't find another picture of a Raider (or any other car) with those type of tires. Anyone know if those are stock tires, or if they are aftermarket?
