If you Google search "how to anodize aluminum" you will find a bunch of links and how-to stuff, and even companies that sell home brew kits. The process is somewhat involved, and can be expensive if you send your part out somewhere to be done. The aluminum part needs to be stripped of it's...

Yes, the length of my chassis was one problem. The front shock tower is another, and the width of the chassis at the front was a concern too.

Looks like it's in great shape. I've been working on one as well. You could re-dye the black parts after you clean it up. It's a challenge to find a body that fit's correctly and looks right, I picked a VW Baja body that looks good. I'll try to post pics for you.
