Re: Dirt Oval rides

Thanks Doug, I'm a member over there. I made this post after looking through the gallery at DO.com. However not a lot of vintage rides over there in the gallery. I seen the incredible detail people on this site put into their rides. So what I was hoping to see is a thread where people can post up th...

I was going to use this company for my T4. They have stuff for the RC10 so might work for ya. Short rear towers for TC3 shocks.

Re: MY RC10CE runnner - couple questions.

I wish I still had mine. We had aluminum bellcranks on my CE back in the day. Don't know who made it but it was alot more solid than that plastic set up. Is that what your looking for?

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (updated 9/6/10)

Thank you for this thread. After finding this site I was thinking how insane most of the members get into their restorations. Right before this deployment I kicked a box and when I picked it up, realized it was an old RC10 box. Believe it's from my first RC10. When I get back I'll have to double che...

Re: Old Houses SUCK!!!

I've seen some houses go up in Mo, AR, and Tx that I feel went up entirely too quick by some less than ideal workers. I used to be a landscape foreman and would come in before final grade to start mapping out irrigation. Was just not impressed with some of the work. But with an old house, I'm expect...

Re: House Insurance Increase???!!!!

I hate seeing stuff like this as I hope to be a first time home buyer around the first of the year....in the northeast. Lucky for me I'll be using USAA. They seem to be very helpful. But sucks to hear that.

Re: Goldie into runner build

Very impressive. Your model RC10 is the very first RC10 I owned, unsure of what version of the gold tub it is. But I can't get over these builds. Might have to start looking for some old gold tub ebay cars.

oh, and forgot to mention the related tierods, turnbuckles and driveshafts would be longer too. I'm still confident that's the only differences.

Re: Truck and buggie differences?

To my understanding through the years, a truck just has longer A arms, shocks and different shock towers. This is in reference to the buggy and stadium trucks. I would assume between a buggy and truggy, the chassis might be stretched? I dunno. I've never owned a 1/8th offroad buggy or truggy.

Yeah, I tell that to my soldiers too. But honestly, I wonder sometimes what the hell our government is thinking. I know there is some dark secrets. But I don't know. Just some things that make you say hmmm. But yeah, think this is getting too deep for me.

Re: U.S. Veterans

Well I tried to call home on Spawar and they told me I'd get my phonecall without charging my account. However the dang phone dropped out 15 minutes into it. So great. But thanks to all the vets that served before me, appreciate your support. To those continuing you to serve, thanks for having my ba...

Re: Dumping your vintage r/c collection.

I'm in Iraq so don't know what's up with Atlanta. I'm not from GA. But that's pretty sad that they had to turn the lights out. Think they would have did something solar powered. As far as the caskets, you lost me on that too. Where did you get this info?

Re: Dumping your vintage r/c collection.

Well this guy is coming to realization that something has to give in my hobbies. I'm on the verge of moving the whole family from GA to NY and buying a house. However now I'll have to get my second vehicle/project truck running. I'll take a hit for a little while until I recover. I've realized to he...

Re: Old Houses SUCK!!!

I'm about to PCS and return home to Ft. Drum area. Most of the houses up there are around 100 yrs old on the average while we've been searching. My wife is excited as she wants an old house. Then that show, If These Walls Could Talk, has her even more excited. Who's not excited? Me, cause she knows ...
