Most of that is panel style paint...with lots of the lace trick. Makes me think of the late Larry Watson.

Re: Graphite

Oh, I understand what your all saying. I do the grinding and such down in the basement as the wifey doesn't like me using the dremel upstairs. So looks like 3mm then. I'll check out ebay. As far as the Sprintcar, I'm looking to build up the chassis like my KRP cars but using modern suspension and st...

This is the size I was referring to. We ran the wedge bodies, some nascar bodies and handbuilt EDM bodies.

Ok, so thinking of doing some playing around and would like to get material for shock towers and little stuff like that. Also, I'm considering building a sprint car so might need to find some material for a chassis plate. I've seen sheets in the past on Ebay. But I don't know what thickness and what...

Re: Needing the collective for a great build.

Hmmm. So it can handle with the modern cars. Wonder if we can make a goldie complete against terminators and modern dirt oval cars? a couple years ago I ran a season on loose dirt running 13.5 edm based off a team car with a lot of mods. I ran in the top three a couple times, but since then all the...

Re: Value of our cars

That's a good point about the wills. Actually I'll wrench at kitchen table as its still chilly in the basement. The 4yr old and 1yr old "wrench" with me. About the only reason I Hung onto the Cobra nemesis junk so they can "bash wrench". Will introduce them to Karts this year and...

Re: Value of our cars

I run my Kendrick Sprint and edm but think once I build a new one, they'll go on the shelf for good. Right now my 1yr old loves cars so much, I built a shelf and display them in the boys room.

Re: What steering servo?

Some things to consider like was mentioned is your steering end points. In the old days you simply remove the servo saver and put all radio settings in the middle. Turn the car on and servo would go to its neutral position. Reinstall the servo saver. On some of these newer radios, you can adjust end...

Re: How do you get you name to be blue???

Well it usually starts with a good looking girl who stops you when your heading for third base or home. Then asks you to take her home early....wait, you said name. This is good info. I'll see if I can sneak some cash over without the Nazi-accountant aka wife noticing. LOL heck, even one day I might...

Nice. We just moved in this house and so far I'm banished to basement. However its a bit nippy so I have a corner in the dining room. I wish I had a place to display other than the basement.

Re: Backyard Tracks Lets See Them!!!

Now that's friggin cool! I haven't built a backyard track yet but built three tracks in Iraq. They ended up looking like something from a backyard. Two off-road tracks and one 90% complete high bank dirt oval. I'm sure units that came in behind us were like WTH did these guys do all day!
