Re: BBT Sprints

Well I have a handful and some are marked MRP. I'm assuming Moody. Is there any way to store these to keep them from dry rotting? Sorry for the thread jack.

Re: BBT Sprints

Ya know, I have those wheels but they are not as tall as those. I have those tires too...the Grand Prix look new. Are they still available somewhere? I don't want to run out of them when I start selling some cars to pay for other projects.

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part

I'd like to get it to ya before Sunday if possible. I'll send both cars (the terminator might have a bulkhead like others posted earlier), a couple different stealth gearboxes complete (2.25 and 2.6.1) along with some tools....you'll have free reign to tear into them, just try not to lose any parts....

Re: BIN LADEN DEAD, the world celebrates

I just pray for those deployed currently...maybe that's why I'm not so keen on celebrating because I know what can become of this recent development. However, I think we are all in agreements that we have one less @hole on the planet!

Re: BIN LADEN DEAD, the world celebrates

I think the post was in regards to me. Again, been in the military for over 10 years so anyone can try to question where I stand. The coverage of the wars have been fading. It's not too mainstream news anymore. But to be honest, what percent of those "kids" are there for patriotic reasons?...

Re: BIN LADEN DEAD, the world celebrates

I just saw some clips of the partying kids on CNN. Seriously don't understand why they are partying. I instantly thought of the Germans celebrating when the wall came down. Now there was a reason for college kids to party...in Germany. I'm military and have been for over 10 years now. I just don't s...

Re: Body Design Programming Idea

If I'm in a pinch, I'll just clean up an existing drawing. For the EDM's, I can pretty much draw them all day. But using the actual template on dirtmotorsports.com, I used the template as a base on some cause the wheels looked good. Once I clean up the pixels so I can simply fill colors, I can prett...

Re: Body Design Programming Idea

I'm a simple person too. I play on paint as I haven't spent the time or energy to figure this photoshop down. http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/215351_1701382268219_1647816918_1622274_4930195_n.jpg Now don't get too excited about the kart, found a drawing online and tweaked it, cleaned ...

Re: explain your screen name

When I started hitting up the custom truck forums, I decided on my nickname Johnboy and 72 was for my old 72 Ford F100...sadly someone wanted my truck more than me and stole it. One day I'll finish my minitruck and start looking for another 67-72 F100 to build up.

I've found the b4 transmission online but haven't seen a 6 gear or 2.25 yet.

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part

Good point, however I would like to see some aluminum parts that look like factory. Walt, I could swing down there one of these weekdays in the evenings. Friday night we'll be at the track. Saturday or sunday is probably good too. Now one concern, is this going to be a problem? I have a chip missing...

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part

Walt, that bulkhead isn't quite like a factory piece. As far as the transmissions, I have them complete with gears so if you can simply "copy" in your magical way, shouldn't have to re engineer anything. Unless we want to tackle an old looking case with modern gears. Rear view http://www.r...
