Re: Reset/calibrate generic 120A v2.3 brushless waterproof ESC

Hey super helpful post and has saved me a bunch of frustration that I didn’t experience with this ESC this time around, I just installed it in my daughters M-05 as we are going brushless, she has a Noble NB4 radio and I experienced the latency, working through the different mode settings to find th...

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE

That will take some effort, it depends on how much work you want to put into it. Some of those scratches look more like gouges, and you can't sand that out. You'd start by wet-sanding perpendicular to the scratches starting with about 320 grit sandpaper until they're mostly gone. When you're as sati...

You can't go wrong with green & gold, it looks so regal. And the RC10's gold parts make it look that much better.

Re: STOP using photobucket / Flickr / Image shack WHATEVER here!

3 MB is ridiculously huge for uploading to a forum. Microsoft used to have an Image Resizer Utility, which I install on every computer I work with. I don't think you can find it to download unless you do some searching. It will take a huge 3+ MB hi-res camera photo and choosing the "Large"...

Re: STOP using photobucket / Flickr / Image shack WHATEVER here!

I've been saying this for years, since before Photobucket kicked the bucket and wanted to force all their users to pay subscription fees to host their previously-free image galleries. Most people said "f*** that noise" and didn't pay. Shortly after millions of photos shared on hundreds of ...

Ooo... tuff call... car looked neat with the Protech, but the Leadfinger body and wheel choice screams Shumacher. Graphics came out awesome, that's for sure. 👍 That's funny, it whispered, "Kyosho" to me. Looks bad@ss though, regardless. Indeed; for me, it was more of a shout than a whispe...

Re: Aluminum/silver shocks for Javelin re-re

You may also need to polish them up a bit after deanodizing them, as sometimes a blackish smut will appear on the aluminum...I think this depends on the quality of the anodizing. But polishing them up is worthwhile if you're going for esthetics. Here are some originally gold Optima parts that I dean...

I have a pair of "Khombu" winter boots that are a Made in China ripoff of Canadian brand quality boots, Kombi. It is to laugh.

You can't beat the name. I want to get this just to have a quicko on my bench.
Dewei = Dewalt?
Miwoqi = Milwaukee?

I can't guess at Mutian though... :lol:

Back in the day, trying to turn my Optima into an on-road car; I had a 1969 Charger body for it. Look closely, I think that's white hockey stick tape on the speed controller wires... :lol: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=16938 https://www.rc10talk.com/download/file.php?id=40621&mode=vie...

Re: Are Tamiya wheels dyable?

Dyeing involves immersing the wheels in boiling water, which will melt and deform ABS plastic wheels. Nylon wheels won't be affected by boiling water. Don't do it unless you have spares and are prepared to toss a set away if the dyeing fails.
