Re: Neat video of a Japanese rc10 event Pine Beach Raceway in Shizuoka Prefecture 2025
There's a lot of videos of racing at that track. I can't understand what they say and that makes it better than 99% of crap on YouTube in my book. I see guys having fun and I am jealous they have many type events like that all over Japan, racing, but not so to speak.

Re: Predictions for the RC hobby in 2035
My RC car drives itself to the one track that remains, races, drives home, reports its results to me virtually while I drool on myself in the Metaverse.

I've stayed up late at night and thought is it extra or simply a relocation of one from the inside, deep things to ponderFrankentruck wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 2:48 pm Oh yes, the Kyosho gearboxes have that extra outboard gear.![]()

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
Will I need shims for the CVA's at all 4 corners or they also included? I've heard similar discussion about the CVA's popping out and using shims and/ or shock shaft spacers as I heard while building the FR-01. The Fan kit ultimately had all the right spacers and shims and worked fine for me as lon...

Gun metal finished parts (pro) instead of gold finished parts if you prefer one or the other. Optima pro is cheaper.

I vote Optima Pro for $304 with the $15 A Main Coupon. Or Optima Mid. My bias might be showing.

I can't say I know anything about it, I had a Pro-X once and recognized the family and somehow ended up here.

Re: Help ID Kyosho 2wd Gas Truck
I thought outlaw rampage pro at 1st glance but you already noted the differences.
I enjoyed the hunt and learned something. Appears to be a Nitro Pro St from 1996. Mystery solved.

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
AE charges a pretty big premium for their stuff Yes, when you see what Kyosho, Yokomo, Schumacher are selling their rere's for. All of which do some nice upgrades and kind of re engineer the whole thing to address the faults of the original without being too different from original that became very...

Re: Club level competitiveness
Sounds like a good plan. This question comes up a lot. The thing about club level racing is you never know what the club is for anyone. You might win the A main with a Hornet at any given race but the field of drivers was not a competitive bunch. Two equally good skilled drivers one with a vintage b...
