Re: Las thing in our track

Thats so cool, its insane. My lhs used to have one about half that size. If someone does launch off that one like a ramp, they won't have to pick up the pieces...they can sweep them up with broom and dust pan. Sure does look fun!

Re: Removing rubber from chassis?

I was thinking that too, as the ol'lady won't be happy with the smell of burning/melting rubber in the house.

Re: Removing rubber from chassis?

Thanks guys. I havn't tried anything yet, but I will first try the fingernail polish remover (when the ol'lady gets home. I can't find it right now) and if that doesn't work, I'll bake it (didn't even think about that, thanks Joe).

Removing rubber from chassis?

Hey guys, I have an A stamp chassis that is in real nice condition. The only problem is the underside of the chassis is coated with spray-on Plasti Dip coating. I thought I would be able to just peel it of with my fingernail, but that isn't working (this stuff is stuck on good) and I don't want to t...

Re: MIP Tranny lube?

I'm the original owner. This is the sp-1hd (with br-100 super pro ball diff). I always wondered why MIP would use such a thin lube for an all metal gear tranny.
I think I'm going to just put it together and put it up in b/s/t

MIP Tranny lube?

Guys, I have a MIP sp1hd transmission that was on a shelfer (new, never run). I decided to take it apart to clean/lube for first time in 19years. After rebuilding, I notice the original lube ( the red stuff-looks like regular trany lube for a 1:1 car ) is a bit gummy and not at all slick. It broke d...

Re: Can't keep my right-side wheels on!

Maybe, try new nylon locks. Sometimes after they have been removed a couple of times they can loosen up real easy (therfore useless). Just a thought.
