Re: lets see your most prized RC possession.

BIG shout out to RC10eh for killing his stash of kyosho golds for this project. :D http://i872.photobucket.com/albums/ab286/slapshot1979/1601561_1451620251727725_328326324_n_z...

Re: Contemplating a big change in direction in the hobby

Its the thrill of the hunt....finding something on the local buy and sell from some guy who built it with his Dad in 1983 and its been kicked around since 1985 and wants $30. get it home rub your hands raw polishing...

Re: JRX2 - Restoration/modification - 5 link mid motor

Well I was late to the party on this thread. I sure I have a cut motor mount here somewhere you could of had. DOH!! Car looks good, You've taken your time and thought things out which is refreshing. Curious to see what you do with body. I bought a Mid motor JRX from ebay years ago and it had a DAHM'...

Re: LOSI XX4 - potential purchase - REQUESTING OPINIONS

Sometimes its just not worth bringing them back to life. spend more in the long run. if the screws are funky then they have been stripped out of the parts that attach to chassis not the chassis itself Id bet. I waited for years somewhat looking then a deal of 2 from a local losi team driver showed u...

Re: I'd say happy 100th to Reg, but...

This is a hobby I use as enjoyment to get-away from all of lifes seriousness, as I believe we all do. I haven't seen him post personally about his leaving or reasons and doubt he will, so insinuating reasons makes one part of the problem and is basically gossip . If he needs a break, good for him. Re: LOSI XX4 - potential purchase - REQUESTING OPINIONS

I would suggest new belts, gears, bearings (on driveline minimum) They are a bit of a bear to work on trackside so its cheap insurance. The AE B 2-3? front brace tie-in is a nice upgrade. I have a shelfer and a runner and the runner is a blast to drive handles so smooth. Price is hard to say depends...
