Good call Lee. It's not that I'm not used to the power, got a bit of modern brushless stuff that's very quick, it's that I don't want to wreck either the car or the running gear. So to that end I shall try and find a period motor around the 19 turn mark. Any recommendations?

I'd love to run mine around a proper offroad track but not being a racer or have ever raced I'll just be running mine on short grass unless I can find a track that lets anybody use when it's not used for race meets.

Right that's it, I can call this done for the time being. It's far from perfect but I wasn't aiming for perfection so I'm pleased with how it's turned out so far. Another little update for you. She is now a runner! Novak Cyclone paired with an Epic Shark Attack 13 turn motor. Gone modern with the steering servo which is a Towerpro MG995 (can't be beaten for the money) and I'm having to use my Planet T5 2.4 set up as the Cyclone wont work with my Spektrum gear...
