Re: YZ10 Super Dogfighter 94

Ahh I didn't take it as an insult Lee  . To be fair whilst my modern stuff is quick, it's a fair bit bigger than the Dog so I can see it better with my rubbish old man eyesight  . I want to slow it down for peace of mind really. I think even a 27T mod motor might just be quick enough for i...

Re: YZ10 Super Dogfighter 94

Good call Lee. It's not that I'm not used to the power, got a bit of modern brushless stuff that's very quick, it's that I don't want to wreck either the car or the running gear. So to that end I shall try and find a period motor around the 19 turn mark. Any recommendations?

Re: YZ10 Super Dogfighter 94

Man, this turned out great! The pink wheels look so good. The shell, wing, everything looks awesome! You put a brushed mod 13T in it? Thanks for the compliments. Again I'm really pleased how this has turned out. Wasn't so sure about the shell at first but now it's on the car and has a few decals on...

Re: YZ10 Super Dogfighter 94

I'd love to run mine around a proper offroad track but not being a racer or have ever raced I'll just be running mine on short grass unless I can find a track that lets anybody use when it's not used for race meets.

Re: YZ10 Super Dogfighter 94

Cheers Lee. Pretty chuffed with how it's turned out and the relatively small cost it's took to actually buy the car and get it this far. I think the plan will be to keep an eye out for more used spares so I can run it without worrying too much (not that it'll get run hard). Until the weather gets wa...

Re: YZ10 Super Dogfighter 94

Right that's it, I can call this done for the time being. It's far from perfect but I wasn't aiming for perfection so I'm pleased with how it's turned out so far. I do have another shell that I'll have painted up at some point but for the time being I'll leave it there. Enjoy the pics :D phpeytTnlAM...

Sludge's JRX2 Pro

Next up in the 'to do' pile is this: phpr4eLZ4AM.jpg phpnfnAMVAM.jpg phpRGq9IxAM.jpg Bought around summer last year as you see it and it's time to get stuck in with it :) Not yet taken it to bits but first impressions seem good. Needs a new shell, hopefully I'll be able to find the correct wheels an...

Re: Delrin Arms for '94 YZ10

I'm certainly very interested. I want to run my YZ10 so having a spare set of arms would be brilliant.

Re: YZ10 Super Dogfighter 94

Another little update for you. She is now a runner! Novak Cyclone paired with an Epic Shark Attack 13 turn motor. Gone modern with the steering servo which is a Towerpro MG995 (can't be beaten for the money) and I'm having to use my Planet T5 2.4 set up as the Cyclone wont work with my Spektrum gear...

These are smart looking buggies indeed. Never considered one before seeing this thread but now I may have to try and find one. :D

Re: PB buggies. Post your pics.

I'd love to find another Peugeot 205 16 body for mine as the one that's on it is rough. You are right about not much mass appeal for stuff like this which is a shame as they are brilliant bits of kit and I dare say would look awesome on the shelf, if nothing else, when they have been restored or in ...
