Bolink eliminator 12 cf

Hello everyone, I purchased a Bolink eliminator 12 cf-c (carpet version) kit from Steve Rule a few years back. Steve Rule is the son of the Bob Rule who started and owned Bolink. The kit is almost complete. It only need a T-plate, and the graphite top plate for rear pod (5374-t). I am in need of the...

Re: My track in my backyard

I would like to show you guys my progress over the last month. I finished the S's and the hairpin. This section was a 60 foot stretch, that went up hill over 11.5 inches. It was my first time pouring concrete on an incline, and I am very happy with the results. The transitions from flat to incline t...

Re: My track in my backyard

Well Everyone, I've been negligent in putting up update over the past few years on my progress on my RC track. I poured 3 slabs back in 2010, then another 12 slabs of concrete the summer of 2011, and this summer I will pour 9 more. If I'm lucky, I'll finish laying all the concrete next summer. Below...

Re: RC10DS short WB

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Someone asked about the front hubs and carriers, I used the Traxxas Stampede front hubs and carriers that a lot of other people are using on their RC10DS's to use touring wheels. As for the wheels, they are HPI cup racer Porsche wheels, which I then painted the in...

RC10DS short WB

I wanted to put the right chassis underneath my Tamiya 30th anniversary Porsche 394 body. I figured what better chassis than my old RC10, my first RC car. The beauty of it was, the drive train was correct for the body rear engined and RWD. After a little comparison of the wheel bases, I knew I could...

Re: Some of my cars from Blades Raceway

I completed my first Vintage Rally Car for the Vintage Rally series I run. A Vintage RC10 with a RC10DS conversion applied to it, a custom shortened carbon fiber chassis and a Tamiya 30th anniversary Porsche 934 body. I very happy with the results.

RC10 wheelbase in millimeters?

Guys, I've searched for this a little and did not get any results. I've got a project to build my old 6 gear RC10 with a custom made graphite chassis and RC10 conversion kit for a Tamiya Porsche 935 body. The body has a 239mm wheel base, and I don't know what the stock RC10DS wheelbase is to know ho...

Re: Bought an early rc12L, got some q´s!

This is the first version of the RC12l Associated came out with. I believe they built/ran this version from 1985-1989. If I'm not mistaken, in 1990 Associated came out with the next revision the RC12lw (Worlds) that used the three bolt front end arms, and a delta shock from the pod forward to the fr...

Some of my cars from Blades Raceway

I thought you guys might be interested in seeing some of the Vintage Rally cars, and RallyCross cars that race at my track Blades International Raceway. They were all built and detailed by me, except for the Alfa Romeo my Dad detailed. Tell me what you think.

Re: bowed RC10 "A" gold tub chassis

Thanks for the advice Reg. What about two carbon fiber braces from front to rear. I'm thinking the tube pick up point back to the rear bulk head pick up point. What do you think? The bowing seems to be from the about 2/3rd from the back. So I'm thinking of using the carbon fiber braces to push the t...
