Re: Perfect gearing / motor setup for the buggy?
I would recommend a decent 19-turn motor, one with ball-bearings. This will have tons of torque to muscle that six gear tranny, and still have pretty good top end speed - usually won't be as drastically tuned as a 27-turn motor, which has timing cranked, etc., to get the most out of stock class limi...

Re: I wanna build a General Lee. What are my options?
Ooohh! Yeah! RC10 General Lee is Kewl... I have an RC10 with a goofy coupe body of some sort mounted (see below) - I would love to swap it out for a nice General Lee body! If anyone finds a good '69 Charger fit for an RC10, I would buy a duplicate of your creation for a very fair price. &quo...

Re: local 540 race attendee
Sounds like fun, but, that body is too nice to race, IMHO. ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

Re: Body trimming?
I saw this topic in R/C Car Action not that long ago, they recommended [pancar]'s method with the exacto blade, then snapping off the excess, just like he explained. ((I pretty much suck at all manner of bodywork, myself...))

Re: Early Edinger Goodyear Tires
I like a good fake breast, although, an equally good real one would get my vote any day...
I would definitely buy the repro tires for $75, although, I am not completely uninterested at $100 - it's a bit more difficult to 'play with them' at $100.

Re: RC10B2 RUNNER BUILD
Great build, awesome paint--job, I love a good runner/basher - that's what R/C is all about! :D ((Thanks for resurrecting the thread, pastimesteve.)) B3/T3/TC3 are the newest Associated models I own, last of the Gene Husting designed models, right? BTW - What distinguishes a B2 front top plate from ...

I am not an expert, but, I think smaller than about 0.270", is not really worth trying to revive.

'Stunning' is the right word... Definitely a lust-worthy collection.
Cheers!
P.S. - are any of them runners?

Re: My Break From Work and Life
MMmmm... Paddock girls! I like the last pic too, the mean looking girl with her hands on her hips, and the choker chain. There seems to be a mysterious lack of 'curves' among the group of four girls posing together? ((No worries, I'm a supporting member of the Itty-Bitty-*itty-Committee!)) :...

Re: Shodog's RC10 collection
Very impressive collection, although I'd want to run 'em around the yard once-in-a-while! :D How did you mount the rear 'jellybean' wheels to the front of that gold pan (appears to be a 2wd car, right?)? Also, do you have a thread with all your Tamiya stuff pictured (that Scorcher is insane!)??? :sh...

Re: My Break From Work and Life
Very nice pics here; I am with some of the others who can hardly manage a clear shot of the kitchen table, much less a 150mph race car... :? I don't want to hijack this post, but: ((Any Moto-GP fans here? Valentino Rossi is off to another impressive year with his win in Qatar today! And how about Ni...

Re: 834B Delta Desert Racer
Looking forward to build pics on this one!
An 834b is really the only vintage R/C that I still want to add to my collection - I have bid on more than a few, just no deals, yet...
