That is an interesting concept - Rustler and Bandit as 'vintage' ?!
I may consider one of those for a future vintage race.

Re: Geforce Genova
Seems like the Stinger and Holeshot are no longer available on the Jeg's website?
- At least I cannot find them?

Re: Inaugural 2023 Tamiya Vintage World Classic - Thunder Alley R/C, Lucama NC - Jan 13-15
I am planning to make it to North Carolina for this event - I scheduled the Leave time from work this week.
- Hope to see you guys there!
I plan to bring a couple RC10s, Dirt Thrasher, and Comical Hornet.
-> I will bring an extra RC10T, in case any old friends want to run something!

Very interesting - Thanks for posting this!
- I am not sure I can make it, but I am looking into it - we'll see.
- Anybody else planning to make it??
So the handout motor will be a Torque Tuned, instead of the Sport Tuned.
- And looks like Classics will be divided into 2wd and 4wd?!

Re: Do you have RC in your office or office shelves?
I totally have R/Cs [lots of them...] on my office shelves - I will try to get pictures at some point.
- Meaning my home office - which I don't always get to use.
- I still have to go in for work quite a bit, that office is pretty bare.

Re: Masami '92 JMRCA Rc10 Replica
Sweet build! And good times at the VONats!
Yes picture flying through the air is poster-quality!
The fleet of retirees is very cool also - I think I saw all the front row at VONats?!
- Would those be: 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 ?

Re: ** 2022 Vintage Off-Road Nationals - R/C Excitement Inc., Fitchburg, MA - Sept. 23-25 **
Haha!! Yes agree with above, my cars took a beating on that backstretch last year - I had best results rolling those triples then jumping the smaller gap right before the turn on last year's backstretch. Current layout / triple section does not look nearly as brutal. I have a couple aluminum chassis...

Re: Wheelbase Holes on Rear Arm Mounts
I put in some significant time today prepping one of the RC10 models I plan to take to VONats this year. The particular model I am working on, I bought as used/good condition - while taking it apart I notice the previous owner had it in the long wheelbase configuration. - My instinct was to rebuild ...

I called R/C Excitement the other day to ask about track layout - they said the track will not change from those most recent videos on Facebook, that will be our layout for VONats.

Re: 3/16" axle pins
Interesting that this topic came up - I am actually in need of a few roll-pins for the old 1/4-inch axles.
Does anyone know the measurements for those pins?

Re: ESC scrambled or poached?
I had emailed Tekin last week, described as best I could what happened and what the ESC was doing - they said more often than not they cannot repair reverse polarity damage... They do have an exchange program though - trade-in for a new RSX Pro is $167, plus $12.50 shipping - as well as shipping cos...

Re: ESC scrambled or poached?
Well, my Orion ESC actually does work after reverse polarity smoked the capacitors! - I just snipped off the old capacitors to give it a try, all seemed fine. - So I soldered on one of those Hobbywing non-polarity capacitors that I happen to have in my toolbox. I have run it around and all seems goo...
