Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
Xtra Speed has three different graphite chassis for the RC10, including a TQ copy. Just saying. Speaking of Xtra Speed, does anyone have the skinny on their stealth transmission, and also the plastic parts they're selling? I know Fan RC was available for a short time on RCMart, but seem to have bee...

Re: What is it now Team Associated?!
It's interesting. I'd be more interested if it had room for rally tires so you could actually get to the track with your RC10 on a trailer. It would also be neat as a 4wd rally with an axle delete. I was intrigued by the rally conversion sales AE was running on the Apex, since it has centre diff cap...

Re: POS Runner of the Month - March 2025
Frankentruck, I like that you've done this. It's nice to see the flip side of the amazing builds we see elsewhere on the site. I can tell these are all cherished runners, and in some ways they embody what I like most about the hobby. Run what ya brung, it just needs to get around the track/driveway/...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
It looks like we're finally getting 1.02 shafts for the rear shocks in the box so that's a plus. The rear drive shafts look suspiciously short though. Front wheels are b64 (92095), so I wonder if Jconcepts 3381 will fit? I think this buggy will look better with B4 offset wheels, and if I recall corr...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
@GOMACHV, maybe you would like to show them up and create a JC410 conversion! They've done some of the heavy lifting in regards to the injection molding, and those parts hopefully will be available separately. I have really enjoyed the gear diff trans from JC in my RC10 using your design, and an RPM...

Re: my final Ten4.1, a CC build
The front wheel halves with the hex really add to this build, and the tranny looks amazing. You must have an enormous display case!

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Whew, I'm slipping with the vintage scene, I almost missed out! These are posted on the Amain site as 'sold out', and available for pre-order on RCMart. I still have a built classic re-re that has not been driven, so I really don't know about this release. The CC was cool, but when they posted the c...

Re: for those not on Facebook... JC Racing edition
Just a heads up for those that are on the fence, I see that RCMart has added these cases in white and black, as well as the JC Protec body, Ultima/optima mid 2.2 wheels... It's great to see this brand get some traction from distributors, I had not realized that they were an OG company, I thought the...

Re: for those not on Facebook... JC Racing edition
Looks like 1 3/16" on my vernier, measured shank only, not the head. This leaves enough thread protruding (into the spur?) to fit a nut if necessary. The black screw in the pic is one I bought from Dubro and is 4/40. I'd just do that and cut it if you have all black screws. Jeff if you're out t...

Re: 2.2 wheels on Ultima rere
For my Scorpion rere, I used a 4mm bullet with the solid end trimmed off to make a sleeve that fits over the 4mm axle and accepts 3/16 id bearings. The bullet connector has a tick of play on the axle but if you're careful cutting it can be secured by the nut. The play is nothing compared to the slop...

You could also try Yokomo YOKB2-670C, I have a Yokomo spur gear that seems to work fine on the AE tranny.

Re: RC10 graphite
I have recently put a 21.5 in my original 6 gear equipped short arm RC10 and I think it offers a perfect retro power level. A 17.5 can also be more manageable without the diff ripping punch of a 4 pole. If you are using a 3300kv motor, it sounds like it's sensorless. I have used the same in mine, as...

Re: B1M graphite
This looks really nice! Couple of questions: Is there room for a gear cover if a guy made a custom motor plate? My track is rocky/sandy and I need a cover or the gears suffer. That's why I like this model more than the tub version. and have you thought of incorporating a plate to tie the 2 camber ba...

Re: I'm gonna guess this isn't gonna work?????
Hey OP, I think you want P/N 3981? I've used those in that location and they're steel.
