Re: Modernized NIX 91 Stealth Car
I just realized you race at OSRC, why don't you ever come to B&T in Ft Walton? Some times we run a vintage class with 3-5 cars.

NW Florida Drivers!
I was wondering if anyone is in, or around the Panhandle that would like to come to Ft Walton Beach for a Vintage race I'm trying to put on at my local track. Dates and times are to follow. I'm trying to gauge interest in our area to see if a larger scale Vintage race is viable. We would be followin...

Re: A few questions about Worlds Car
If I use Klien rear arms, RPM RC10GT hubs, and B44 rear CVD's that will work right? I see a lot of people use that combo. I just want to be able to use B4 wheels and have the correct, or close to it offset. I hate when the rear looks really narrow. I've read the 2.2 wheel post, but like I said befor...

Re: A few questions about Worlds Car
Here are some picks of the car. Sorry for the tape holding the battery down... I just wanted to beat my buddy's Losi XX, and I didn't have a battery cup at the time. The car has since been torn down cleaned and rebuilt, but I'm out of the country so I can't take new pics. http://i1154.photobucket.co...

A few questions about Worlds Car
Like everybody else I'm building a WOIN Worlds car. To my knowledge everything is original. I've seen posts about the Klein arms, "RPM" Worlds arms, and CE arms. My question is, is the AE worlds arms the same lenght as the RPM Worlds/Klien Arms, or are the CE & AE Worlds arms the same?...

Re: Project Circle Track
The key with 1/12 pan car racing is to try to keep your speed up. Once to motor is "on the pipe" so to speak those things REALLY move. The WHOLE body is designed for maximum downforce. It's crazy how well they get around the track on a 1s pack!

Re: Project Circle Track
Thanks a lot, Jay. I'm running Gens Ace 5000, 50C packs and my speedo does have the LVC. So far, I've understood the charge rate, but I was a bit lost on was balance vs. fast, and if you could top-off packs....Lipos are a whole new game to me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks again. -Russ I'm sorry ...

Re: Project Circle Track
Yeah I always balance, and for the max charge rate I just went to HobbyPartz.com and looked it up, and the 5000Mah 50C packs are good up to 5C.

Re: Project Circle Track
I hate to double post, but if you are using Gens Ace 5000mah 40C ROAR Approved packs they have a charge rate up to 5C (25amps) Personally I NEVER charge my packs higher than 2C (10amps for your battery). I have serveral of these packs, and if you treat them right they will last you a long time! Jay

Re: Project Circle Track
Well, I got everything set up, charged my first battery, and strapped on some old foams to test on the street.....HOLY CRAP!!!! That old 6-gear never had it so good. I can only imagine what a higher Kv motor would do...Time to go racin' :D On a serious note: What recommendations does anyone...

Re: scoops
With great care! Make sure you clear coat them, otherwise moisture from the track will destroy your new "Scoops"Timmy2Tracks wrote:How do you glue Doritos to Lexan?

Re: scoops
HAHAHAHA!
By scoops, are you talking about on the body to help cool the ESC? I've done it to my 4wd Buggy, but it's just not needed on my 2wd setup. I've done runs until LVC and the ESC isn't even warm. If your stuff is getting hot then it's a great way to cool things off.
