Re: Cougar 2000 body????

I got a NIP Cougar 2000 body set, together with a couple other cougar parts, from my recent LHS "old parts hunting". I'm still unsure why I bought it  , I've never had any Schumacher car ever. It's a long shot, but I'm hoping to stumble on a complete Cougar 2000 roller.

Re: Hi all from a new member *** w/pics now ***

I would try some jasco metal etch which is phosphoric acid. I just checked the MSDS http://www.stancoe.org/scoe/busserv/safety/msds/uploaded/metal%20etch%200701.pdf and it doesn't have a compatibility problem with magnesium. Apologies for my ignorance. How do this work? I did a quick search for Jas...

Re: Hi all from a new member *** w/pics now ***

I've been looking for a shop here in the GTA that can do glass beading. I can't start on my rebuild until I get the magnesium parts done.

Re: Hi all from a new member *** w/pics now ***

Welcome aboard, from a fellow newcomer.

Nice YZ10s you got there. You're not too far from me, I'm in Scarborough. I have 2 YZ10s myself and they're also in pieces waiting for some parts and a nice free day. We might be able to help each other out with parts.

Re: My first Yoke = YZ10 870C

Still haven't taken care of the problem, don't have the tool.. I got another question: What modern tires would fit in the old YZ10 front wheels (ZC-801)? Found me a bunch of them in my LHS yesterday. Don't even know what size they are. http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k475/Bimdapo...

Jun, kamusta? I can answer the last Q, you won't need the tubing. It only works with tub chassis, since there's nowhere to mount it on to a graphite (AE) one.

Re: My Gold Pan Runner

Thanks for the reply. So there's nothing else needed aside from the adapters, correct?

How's the tire choice with using these wheels? Almost all tires now are 2.2". I have 3 pairs of these wheels with mounted tires but don't know where to buy replacements after.

Re: My Gold Pan Runner

I have extra rear YZ10 wheels that I want to use on my RC10 runner? The adapters don't look the same as the ones from the YZ10, are they specific for the RC10? Got info on that (part #, etc.)? I'm using Team Car universals and hubs. Is there anything else that I need? TIA! Edit: Found the adapters! ...

I'd buy grandpa a lap dance!

Re: 2nd RC10 - Help ID front end.

Got it in the mail yesterday, it looks better than expected! The rear wheels are a bit unusual, not obvious in the first pic but it actually has clear caps on the outside. Does anybody know who makes these?? I'll post pics later, maybe I'll make this a WIP thread to add motivation and speed things u...

2nd RC10 - Update 6/6/10 almost there!

Hi guys, I'm thinking of picking this one up, will be my 2nd RC10 and I thought it's a good candidate for a runner since I don't want my gold tub getting all scratched up. I do need help IDing the front end (bulkhead and arms) as they seem different. Any help is much appreciated! :D http://i21.photo...

Re: My first Yoke = YZ10 870C

I'm now in the process of rebuilding this one. I just disassembled the chassis and do have a couple questions. 1. Some of the suspension hinge pins are bent. I managed to force the others out (damaged some ends in the process) but one in the front is still there and i might need to somehow cut the p...
