For sure I can do that, if there aren't repros of this set in the market yet. I thought Willy Chang has them repro'd.
Let's see if Mr.L would be interested.

Another Pro Radiant
Picked this Pro Radiant up this morning. 8) Wasn't really that interested in it when the seller put it up for sale 2 weeks ago. But while searching for Kyoshos in the local classifieds, the ad for this car keeps on popping up as the seller also had a Lazer. Okay, so I did some browsing on TC and on ...

Thanks! I've been wondering what the different color labels mean, do they correspond to a different number of turns or something? They're definitely nice. I was thinking of offering $ for the whole lot, but I can't find reference as to what to offer.

I've been given the chance to choose from this lot, but I can only pick 2. Which 2 would you pick? I want to pick out the best from the bunch, but I've no idea which is which.

Re: An Optima Mid, finally!
Hey! Are you in the GTA as well? 2 for 1 deal on the receivers sounds good. Got some pics? I'll be installing a Technigold motor in the Avante, and switch the tires with a mint set of pin spikes. Honestly, I have high expectations on the Avante. Planning to ebay it unless I get offered a good sum. :...

Re: An Optima Mid, finally!
He was heading East to Pickering I think, it was a good timing. I did get the Avante. I have some parts to make it look better. No plans on keeping it though, planning on selling it to recoup the $ (or at least part) I spent for the Optima. I asked him about the RC10 (plus some nice vintage motors),...

Very nice of him. Such a good timing too, it's been 25 years since he won that trophy.

Re: $125 Kyosho Rowdy Baja Circuit 20 Pickup - Ebay
I had one. I never finished it. It was a monster and I didn't really have the space for it. I posted it on ebay, I was actually a bit (just a bit) disappointed I only got $300 and some, Marwan got it. http://tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=90147&id=5484 I remember it had a .21 Enya on it a...

What were the most desirable motors in the 80s-90s?
I have collected a number of older motors from deals. Mostly Tamiyas, and a few Kyoshos. They really make fantastic shelf pieces! I only started this hobby a few years ago and I'm curious to know what were the motors of choice in the 1980s through the 90s? I do realize this is a considerable s...

Re: my hobby 'room' (closet).
I always wanted a small hobby/work space. Right now my stuff is scattered all over the place. Bodies in the closet, some in the shelf unit with kit boxes, parts and equipment in tackle boxes/cases under the bed, tires in boxes tucked in the closet (some in the terrace - outside!). I use a d**n foldi...
