Re: Project Sand Scorcher
Update! Gave the chassis a thorough cleanup. Happy to see that parts are still in excellent condition, probably hardly been run.. http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k475/Bimdapogs/Scorcher/DSC_4991.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k475/Bimdapogs/Scorcher/DSC_4992.jpg http://i327.photobucket.co...

Re: An Optima Mid, finally!
I did see that, but it isn't big enough for me to see clearly.. Thanks though! With the diff lose I still put it together. It won't be run anyway, at least for the time being. Here she is, almost finished. I still need to get a bodyset from Marwan. It has narrow front tires I know, which is wrong fo...

Re: An Optima Mid, finally!
Although not a big deal, I'm beginning to think this car was actually a Mid Special. According to Marwan the body without the bubble on the left side of the cockpit was unique to the TOMS kit and was not offered as a spare bodyset. No biggie, but good to know. :P http://tamiyaclub.com/trades_model.a...

Project Sand Scorcher
Who doesn't want a Sand Scorcher?! One of the most collectible model ever made by Tamiya. I always wanted one but even with the re-res at $300, it still isn't cheap. So the plan was to find a roller at a good price.. 3 months after getting a bodyset, this chassis showed up in the local classifieds f...

Re: DELTA EAGLE 1/8
Deltas are indeed beautiful. I had 3. When I had to sell off some cars, sadly the nitros and bigger ones were first on the list.. These were my P2 and P4. Sold them to a good friend in Japan. The other P2 went to Olivier in Germany. Thought Delta fans might like to see.. Before when they were with m...

Composite Craft Optima Mid
Hi all, I'm looking for pictures of a built up Optima Mid on a Composite Craft chassis. I found this lower plate in my LHS and am planning to build my Mid SE parts on it. I'm wondering if there's an upper plate to match it as the holes on the stock ones don't match to the lower plate's. Also curious...

Looks to be Tamiya. I think the Fox uses the same MSC. For sure there are more models in the same era that has that same MSC.

Nah, these are very helpful info, I don't mind at all.
I may try the longer front shocks in the future, but for now I'll stick with the stock one.

Re: 2nd RC10 - Help ID front end.
Update! I've been wanting to get this buggy together and finally found some time to work on it. A set of turnbuckles + new front wheel bearings and I'll be able to run this. Looking at these pics, I'm happy with how she looks now. http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k475/Bimdapogs/AE%20RC10...
