Re: Converting the old to new help.
Thanks jwscab. Yeah, the dremel station is the best I have. I don't have a drill press. But in regards to speed, this thing will spin way faster than any drill I have. What kind of drill bits should I be using? Drill bits for metal? And where can I pick up some G10? Any chance the Depot carries it? ...

Re: Converting the old to new help.
Charlie and scr8p, wow, nice work. Well, any chance you can provide some advice on how to do it? Any before and after hole pictures? What I will need? I have a dremel and the work station (see pic) and various tools that I could use to do this. What do I need to drill the holes in the graphite and h...

Re: Scorcher '10
Hey Brandon, Nice car! Just wondering where you purchased those side body mounts from? I'm working on a gold pan project but plan on cutting the sides of the gold pan down so I can't use velcro to secure the body. These side mounts might work for mine. In case you were wondering, I'm cutting down th...

Re: Converting the old to new help.
Scr8p, you're saying you would consider drilling into the graphite for the 10T bulkhead or you wouldn't? I know a lot of folks like to keep the integrity of the old vintage original pieces and I think I'm going to do the same. My graphite will stay a nice and happy 6 gear with original parts. My gol...

Converting the old to new help.
Hello folks. So I was reading a ton of posts in regards to "worlds" front ends, switching to 2.2 wheels, etc...With that said, I've decided to do both. A little background: I have a graphite chassis which I thought was going to be my pride and joy but it's a 6 gear and I haven't seen anyon...

Re: Stealth Question
Thanks aconsola. Where in the "what's old is new" thread did you see the B4 setup? I looked and couldn't really find anything specific. Would I need to change the top shaft for the B4 set up? I don't want to eliminate the slipper because I'm running brushless and don't want to risk damagin...

Stealth Question
Hey folks. My stealth tranny came in the mail. Yippee. :D It didn't come with any spur gear/spring/slipper etc... Basically, just the tranny, original felt and motor plate. There's a few options out there that I've read about on these forums but not sure which to go with. Can someone make a recommen...

Ahhh. Thanks for the clarification. And when I got home, I took a look at the chassis and was wrong about the holes. My mistake. Guess I'm going wait until my MIP comes in, then if that doesn't work, I'm grab that RPM from tower. Thanks for the help. Again, pics to come soon.

Re: New to the Forum!
Thanks for the replies everyone. So the stealth won't fit huh. What version of the original B1 graphite chassis came with the stealth then? I'm pretty sure one version did. There are a set of holes that aren't used on my graphite chassis that came pre drilled when I bought the car so I'm wondering w...
