I painted up the driver and larger headlamps, installed.
Hopefully soon, the next thing on my list will be the windows cut-out and the netting installed.
To Builtolast,
Regarding the wire, to be 100% honest I can't recall what I used for this. I think I used some very thin gauge copper wire as it is easy to bend and wrap on the inside. For the holes for this wire, I used a very tiny drill bit.
Hope this helps.
THANKS FOR THE WELCOME BACK! Carloco8, no I had not heard anything, TBH I still don't know anything about that so I will have to google for it unless there is a place that has links. I have been out of the RC scene for at least the last 5 yrs again ( I haven't done anything RC since 2016 TBH), as li...
Apologies for being 100% away for some time now, I had not even been back to browse the website in many years. Life just moved on. Today I have returned to post up the latest addition to my collection: the new RC10-4WD that was released by Associated Electrics in 2025. I realize it isn't quite "...
I did get the instruction manual from RC10Resto! Thank you so much. I am happy to report that the Novak NEC-1 charger that I currently own is in like brand new condition and works perfectly, having charged 6 different NiCAD packs this Halloween weekend and monitoring the voltage with a separate volt...
I'm looking to see if anyone can provide me with a few pictures of the instruction manual, or maybe a scanned pdf file of it.
I've come into owning one, but do not have the instructions and would like to try using it with some nicads.
I do believe the reason for the two holes in the motor plates backside is for tooling, to hold it in the jig while the press comes down to create the two bends. Basically the two holes were for dowels to hold the plate firmly while the press comes down and bends the motor plate at 90 degrees and als...
Windows were only removed for the Box art body to give it a realistic look for the photoshoot. That car may have never been run from what we know. But leaving the windows intact (uncut) gives the RC10 the best aerodynamic flow for running, and is what most every racer did.
Absolutely beautiful work! Thank you very much for posting your build thread. You do amazing work! My "need" list to build one myself is adding up: -Ferrari front white sticker -2x Ferrari side logo stickers -2x Goodyear side stickers -2x front aluminum shock ends/cups -2x steering turnbuc...
I paint all of mine, Im down to my last clear no-stamp RC10, just until I come up with another cool era correct paint scheme. I don't like seeing them clear at all, but that's just me.
I have had this one new original A-Stamp RC10 for nearly 15 yrs now, and it never had a body on it. So around 10 yrs ago I received a lot-buy where I got two red bodies. One had small yellow stripes, the other 100% red with 3 stickers on it. These have been just sitting in a box until this past Wedn...
