Re: Nice surprise

Hey, it you disassemble the gear diff, please take photos. I also have a gear diff that I would like install on one of my cars. I'm especially intersted in the bearing that support the axel in the mounting blocks.

Thank you...

Re: RC10L Chassis...

I ended up building another 10R5 front end and installing on a older RC10L, instead of a graphite version, but a G-10 glass version. Surprising the car handled very well and easy kept up with the newer pan cars. I did have to purchase shims and dial in the front end as if it was a newer 10R5 car. Af...

Re: RC10L2 lower pod plates ASC8204

This week I'm going thru some old boxes, if you don't mind installing a used lower pod plate, I'll dig one out.

I know I have at least one, if not, two of them...

Re: 10L Bumper Question

I only know from the early 10L kits I've built from a sealed box. The widest and the most narrow bumbers were included in the RC10L/LS kits. Where the only time I saw the middle size bumper is with the RC10LSS/LSO kits.

Re: Third Party Chassis...

OK, here's my last one...

Image

This chassis is identical to the chassis above except the cut-out below the front suspension is not the normal rectangle as in most of the other chassis.

Anyone have a guess???

Re: Third Party Chassis...

I'm Starting to figure out that back in the day Composite Craft was one of the most active manufacture of aftermarket parts.

Image

Everybody says that this is also made from a Composite Craft chassis...

Here's the next ones.

These are probably Composite Craft, I just need someone to verify.

Third Party Chassis...

I'm starting this thread to help me identify all these aftermarket chassis that I've used to builld these RC10L/S variants. I know most guys think there from "Composite Craft", but I have to believe that there were other manufactures out there back in the day. http://img.photobucket.com/al...

Re: RC10L Chassis...

I finally got a chance to assemble a 10L with a R5 front suspension.

As a front brace, I ended up using one from a RC10L2, it fit with out any modification.

I completed the build with HPI components that had purchased throughout last year.
