Re: Rc10 Sand Scorcher racing pics
I agree with what was said above. You run things that would never leave my shelf. LOL Truly a beautiful car! Like the new paint scheme.

Re: so close yet so far
Very nice! When time and money allows, that's EXACTLY how I want to redo my gold pan. Right down to the anti-roll bars and wiper arm speed controller.

Re: My new Red Prince!
Please tell me that the pics of that HIGH END Frog don't depict bushings in the front wheels???
Is the entire car riding on the plastic bushings? LOL

Re: My Super Champ
Cool! Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure and use cement. I assume I can paint over it after it's fully dried and sanded?

Re: My Super Champ
I am actually going to try and super glue/ sand/ buff and rework the body back together. Then prime/ paint it. Not sure how well it's going to work but it can't get any worse. LOL The decals are a bummer but even some repro's would surfice. As for the missing bumper, I am aware of that. :) The car i...

Re: My Super Champ
Update! The body was snapped off right behind the front shocks. Still pretty pissed about it. Might end up turning it into a Scorcher if I can't get another body for a decent prices ($100 or less).

Blackfoot!
Just won this on ebay. I'm very partial to the Blackfoot since it was the first real RC I had. This one needs some work but parts seem to be still pretty common for these. I bought this to help ease the pain over my Super Champ mishap. Haven't mentioned it yet but a suitcase got dropped on my Champ ...

Very cool! The "low detail" body/ paint scheme actually gives it a 1 to 1 scale look. LOL Ever seen a real bomber? They pretty much look like they're painted with Glidden exterior paint with a 4inch brush. LOL
Maybe a different wheel/ tire combo but, I really like it!

Very nice! The pan is very clean. I love the virgin tires too. Are you going to run it or put it on a shelf?

Re: so what is your favorite rc car?
I love my old gold pan. Out of cars I'd LOVE to have (and money was no object), I'd have to go with a shelf queen Bruiser.

Re: I have an idea...
I actually like the way the front looks on there. Maybe some black paint to help it blend in. You may have already figured this out but I'm pretty sure you're gonna have to cut down the sides of the chassis so you can get your tie rods hooked up.
Pretty cool so far.

Re: Question on clear coating ABS
Yeah the stickers that are on there came out pretty good. That's why I'd really think it over before I just ripped them off. I still might buy the repro's as a backup. I like the other idea mentioned to try the clear coat on another piece of plastic first. I'll put some random decals on a piece and ...

Re: Your biggest mistake
I regret giving away/ selling any of my RC stuff. If I never had, I'd still be the owner of the following; Hornet, Frog, Falcon, Blackfoot, RC10GT, and RC10 Nitro DS. Numerous tools, radios, spare parts etc... Atleast I kept my original gold pan. :) With the exception of letting my kids starve, I'll...

Re: Question on clear coating ABS
I found a set of repro decals on ebay. Is it worth it to rip mine off and start over? Give it a full paint/ clear coat and then put on new stickers?
