I see you have the original Losi X-patterns on the back.
I had a pair of those on my 1st rc car, an RC10ce.
I had a grass track in my back yard and those tires used to hook up so well on that surface.

Re: B3 Upgrades
One thing I've done to my T3(and that I will do to my B3), is that I've upgraded the topshaft and slipper to B4/T4 units. It's cheap enough ( less than $20 IIRC), it also really helps protect the tranny from the newer brushless power. When replacing the topshaft remember to use the spacers that come...

Re: NEW RC10B5
This site is also very much a non racer oriented forum- I think we took a poll once and came up with like 10% regular club racers max. I understand the reasons the UK uses turf indoor and out, and would love to try it myself! But, to say that the US is behind is like me saying how bad Schumachers w...

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...
Even if the chassis is as good as rc will ever get, why make it so ugly? Put in a little effort and add some lovely lines, a decent body, some character here and there, quality feel of materials (alloy, real carbon fibre, titanium etc). They just look so plastic and ugly. Fast does not have to mean...

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...
I was really hoping to see something that was different but all I am seeing is another version of the B4. Don't get me wrong the B4 was/is a great buggy but I was hoping for something completely new. The castor blocks resemble the 91 Stealth car castors by looking at the pics. The hinge pin sits ne...

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...
Dayum, pretty cool (more so with a better body). I like the mid motor option and glad I didn't get a Centro conversion, and thanks for the callout on the front hub carriers; I went back and looked at the pics, those things are HUGE. Interesting that the movement to aluminum chassis is gaining momen...

Re: NEW RC10B5
Exactly. I think with the 3 gear setup w/ mid motor the motor's inertia "fights" the normal weight transfer upon acceleration.gomachv wrote:Maybe they are worried about the rotation of the motor for inertia purposes?

Re: NEW RC10B5
What would be nice is if the transmission, motor mount, suspension mounts, shock tower, and anything else in that back area was all integrated into eachother, so to switch from rear to mid, you would only need to remove 4 screws on the bottom of the chassis and rotate the entire assembly. You would...

B4/T4 top shaft on a T3
Hello all. I've been doing some casual club racing with my old T3 just to get some extra wheel time. Anyway, I want to put the T4/B4 slipper/top shaft on it. I've heard you have to shim up the topshaft to make this work. For those that have done this, how many/thickness of shims did you need to make...

Re: who tried B4 wheels on B2?
it's just an idea. B3 arms are slightly longer than B2's. so I'll try the arms. but didn't go further yet. any idea on CVD and hub carriers? Hyeong You could also try rear wheels for the Thunder Tiger Phoenix BX buggy. The Phoenix is essentially a B3 only with metric screws and such. However, I bel...

Re: Spektrum / DSM Receiver Wire - Trim or Not?
One thing you could do is to make an antenna "loom". Take a scrap piece of lexan and drill holes in it to take up the extra antenna. Drill the holes so that when you thread the wire through it makes a zig zag pattern. This way, if you race at tracks of vastly differing sizes you can put in...

Stealth Tranny parts
Hello all. I was wondering if anyone knew of any online retailers that still stock parts for the 2.25 stealth tranny? I looked at another post on this forum that had some links to Tower Hobbies and I searched tower but to no avail. If there's already been another thread posted a link would be greatl...
