The Fail Chassis and the new mould.
The quick mould process, while quick has some issues. I have found that as the foam cures it pulls the outer mould out of shape slightly. This causes the wall thickness of the tub to be uneven. I also tried to use some dark orange pigment in a small amount to get a gold colour. Didn't work either. I...

Re: Composite RC10T (making the mould)
I'm glad I can contribute something to the forum, I'm making some mistakes along the way and learning things, never made a hard mould like this. Let me know if I should make these pics smaller, they are roughly 300kb each. Here is the inner mould finished. http://i403.photobucket.com/albums/pp115/Dr...

Composite RC10T (making the mould)
Having a go at building a glass RC10T, starting with a two part mould of the chassis. My first thought was to make a plug out of doam and then pull chassis from that but I quickly abandoned that idea. It would leave you with a rough outer surface. Instead I use an existing chassis as the plug. http:...

Re: What RC10T CVD's do I need for SC10 Wheels?
Here's mine the outer diameter of the 3/16 bearings are the same size as your old bearings so they will fit the original hub. Incidentally they are the same size bearings that are in the casing of your stealth tranny (upper two gears) and the same size bearings as those running on your front wheels....

Well she's done, nice modern sealed bearings all round. I really liked buying from Avid, besides the good service they sent a sticker sheet
I toyed around with my SC10 wheels for interest sake.

Re: SC10T---the build
Steve I was under the impression that if you measured the wheel base of an rc10T and then measured the wheel base of an sc10; subtracted the one from the other you would get the stretch you need to put onto your rc10T chassis. Is that correct or does the angle of the shock tower put a dent in this t...
